    Wow! that sounds awsome. I will definitely have to build one of these. I did build a Tsynth a while back, boards were out of stock so hand wired everything onto strip board. might not look too pretty but workd great....

      Thanks. We have also built in special features. Jeannie has a 24Bit Effect DSP with 15 programs, analog bass boost and BurrBrown 32Bit DAC PCM5102A for better sound.

      Ist ja DIY. Du kannst den kompletten Bausatz bestellen oder nur Platinen oder einzelne Bauteile und dabei Geld sparen. Außer dem Display (kommt aus China) bekommt man die Bauteile bei fast allen großen Elektronic Läden.

    • @rolfdegen1806
      @rolfdegen1806  2 года назад

      Es gibt verschieden Bausätze. Du kannst nur die Platinen kaufen und selber löten. Dadurch kannst du bis zu 50% der Kosten einsparen.

    Are there any good resources / applications to create the GUI on the OLED?
    I have followed steps to create a Teensy Synth and wanted to add a screen to make it a little more interactive

      I was more wondering how one goes about designing a custom Teensy GUI? Is there an application I can use to visually design the interface which can be converted to code?

    Tolles projekt! Wird die Firmware für den Teensy open source sein, damit man eigene Änderungen durchführen kann (bspw. eigene Potis für bestimmte Parameter)?

    • @rolfdegen1806
      @rolfdegen1806  2 года назад +2

      Ja die Firmware ist open source und wird später auf Github verfügbar sein. Es gibt auf der Jeannie Platine noch einen Expansion Anschluss. Das sind drei analoge Eingänge und ein Schieberister Ausgang. Darüber lassen sich zusätzliche Tasten, Regler oder andere Dinge steuern und abfragen.

    Does this use the ladder filter at all? I'm building a synth using a teensy 4.0 and was wanting to use the ladder filter and was hoping to make it polyphonic. The documentation says the ladder filter is more numerically intensive but I'm not sure what that means in my case. I'm hoping to have 2 LFOs, 3 Envelopes and at least 8 voices of polyphony. I don't need any effects except for maybe a chorus. Would a teensy 4.0 be able to handle that?

    • @rolfdegen1806
      @rolfdegen1806  2 года назад

      You can use Ladder Filter or State Variable Filter. Ladder Filter is LowPass only and has nice resonance. State Variable Filter has LP/HP/BP . Teensy 4.0 should work with 8 voices. Has enough RAM and flash memory. Jeannie has many settings. Look at here: www.modwiggler.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=3753694&hilit=Jeannie#p3753694

    • @System-1541
      @System-1541 2 года назад

      @@rolfdegen1806 Yeah, I've messed around with the state variable filter but I like the sound of the ladder filter better. I'm kinda going for a polyphonic model d sound. Though if it's too much for the teensy to handle polyphony with the ladder filter I'll switch to the other one.
