You also have to remember the animation in the '90s back then X-Men Spider-Man fantastic four Iron Man all animation was top of the line.
Now look at how much better it is.

this is fun because it is unique, lets not tarnish it.
All the 90s animated series were connected, thats what made it so awesome. The Secret Wars plot of Spider-Man season 5 is one of my favorites. it had everyone together. Dr Doom, F4, Capt America, iron Man, Storm, Xmen, Hulk. Etc I Think Spider-Man had the most crossovers, The Punisher episodes were great too. The Silver Surfer single season is definitely worth watching for anyone that never saw it. It revolves around a much different version of Thanos than we got in MCU. Still good tho.

Man I am an old fart now. I remember watching the sneak preview of the 1st Spider-Man premiere on FoxKids back in Fall 1994 at ten years old. Man that Spider-Man show was so good, especially the Alien Costume series. I love the inner monolog of Spider-Man's thoughts.

As an 80s/90s kid, the X-Men and Spider-Man theme songs were among the best out there. The original early 90s Batman cartoon theme is classic as well!

Concerning music, modern shows just don’t match up to what we had in the past. Almost every show of my first 20 years had a recognizable and memorable soundtrack. For context, I was born in the early 80s. This goes from campy 80s sitcoms and Sat morning cartoons, to more adult fare like Law & Order. Modern shows just don’t do it for me. Sure, there are some recognizable themes, but it’s no where near the same amount as there was 30 years ago.
@@williamwesley3157 The three theme songs (X-Men, Spider-Man and Batman TAS) are incredible! But I must point out that the X-Men theme song is a plagiarism of the song Papagaio Alegre (composed and played by Hermeto Pascoal).

I still watch spider-man the animated series and Avengers Assemble with their little secret wars crossover event (Beyonder), Ultimate spider-man and now X-men 97 😊❤ old school marvel is back!!! With upgrade in 2020s decade.
The 90's was an awesome time for comics. Seeing all these again makes me feel like i'm a kid again on Saturday with all my Toybiz action figures. It's really like seeing old friends again.
When I and my siblings were young we became like crazy when the Spider-Man intro kicked in. Jumping around in the sofa and shot web everywhere in spiderman poses and also singing with the intro.
If they do a revival with the original intro I warn you guys already what is going to happen then.

@emergencyawesome don’t forget that Disney also did Earth’s Mightiest Heroes which did have a ton of marvel characters including the Wolverine from X-Men TAS. I really wish they would bring that series back along with Wolverine and the X-men. Both were fantastic.

If marvel does make a continuation of spiderman TAS , then i hope they can do the other 90's shows like, the incredibe hulk fantastic four , iron man ,silver surfer and even spiderman unlimited ,and the avenger united they stand shows too or at least settle with better end ,and all loose ends connected.

This venom was more hardcore, serious and dark more than the live action venom movies ‼️
There was an article in Comics Scene regarding the then-currently airing Spider-Man: TAS where head writer John Semper, Jr. stated that Secret Wars would never be adapted due to there being too many characters. Fast forward 4 years or so, we get a watered-down adaptation. I wouldn't mind a straight-to-video version adapted properly.
If they do revive the 90s Spider-Man series, I have what may or may not be such a good idea for it, they could have Flash Thompson become Toxin as a nod to Agent Venom in it.
According to Marvel Studios animation head Brad Winderbaum, DeMayo wasn’t fired due to any conflict, but “parted ways” with Disney and the project. He did reiterate that DeMayo had “real respect and passion” for the X-Men. We’ll see how well that passion for these characters shines through in season two.
Bro Spider-Man and X-Men r my favorite marvel properties and I loved when the crossover both animated series and ofc Venom plus I loved this show including all the twists and turns with all my favorite characters from the X-Men but also wouldn’t mind a Daredevil animated series plus the animation from Marvel lookin really clean and I can’t wait for more Marvel Animated Universe. Plus and Sony has a rumored Animated Venom movie bro the possibilities could be endless and I’m so hyped for it too being The Fantastic Four animated series.

I also wanted to add that the toy sales for the X-Men 97 Hasbro line has been really good through the 1st two waves. Rogue is basically impossible to find unless you pay 3x- 4x through the secondary market. Wolverine and Goblin Queen are very hard. Nightcrawler is selling extremely well, as well as Magneto in his original costume, Gambit and Cyclops.
I watched the original 90s Spiderman and i loved it back then, even though I was probably too old to be watching it (I'm 45, do the maths). Rewatched it a couple of times on Disney+. Its aged but is still good. Will love it if they bring it back and hopefully Spectator Spiderman later on as well. Hoping to see a ton of cameos in X-Men 97 as well.
I hope the animation and direction stays consistent.

It's so strange, I was considered a weird nerd for loving all this growing up. I never really grew out of it, still a big fan, even in my mid-30s. It's nice to know that I was right all along with the entertainment i enjoyed (Marvel, Pokemon, Power Rangers, DBZ, etc)

I love the implication though. I mean, the newspaper article being written by Eddie Brock, with photos by Peter Parker. It means that not only did Madame Web and Spider-Man find Mary Jane, but they also picked up Eddie Brock along the way, brought both of them back home, Eddie and Peter buried the hatched, Eddie somehow got his job at the Daily Bugle back,, and he and Peter do news reports together.
Or, of course, that could be an old ass news paper from before Eddie became Venom and he still worked at the Bugle, but I like the idea of it being after more. Seriously, imagine a buddy-cop Spider-Man and Venom cartoon where they do investigations together and then write it for the news.
They definitely need to revive the Silver Surfer cartoon
Original X-Men series, Spidey did a non-seen cameo in a PHOENIX SAGA episode.
X-Men made a cameo appearance in a FANTASTIC FOUR (1996 version). They were in civilian clothes, sightseeing and even had Juggernaut climbing up the bridge and had a SCARLET SPIDER appearance as well, while FF were fighting the Hulk and Dr. Doom.

I wanna see all the 90's shows come back. I mean iron man and hulk had some really solid stoeylines as did fantastic four. I remember hulk had demon hulk and iron man did armour wars and hawkeye was in it. Fantastic Four had ghost rider in it as well where he used the penance stare on galactus. They even had silver surfer 90s show as well where he fought thanos and showed how crazy thanos was for lady death and adam warlock was in it as well and he fought ego the living planet which was the same ego from fantastic four that thor and ff4 were fighting as well
I just binged the entire X-Men and Spider Man animated series last fall and they are so good. I missed them during there initial runs because I worked on Saturdays but thankfully Disney + has them. Spidey is very good and had very cool featured characters and stories with Blade & Whistler, Punisher, DD, Felecia Hardy, Spidey’s villains, fleshed out Bugle characters, Madame Web, and like Charlie mentioned the SW arc was very good. Seeing the FF, X-Men, Iron Man, Cap/Red Skull was great. Morbius was done well unlike the Sony live version. The writers also did a good job of featuring Fisk as a Spidey villain. Seeing a Spidey revival series continuation with a married Pete and MJ has a lot of interesting possibilities.
