Once when my nephew was newly married I invited the newlyweds and my sister's family for lunch and made Russian salad, fish fry, tandoori aloo, pulao, chilly paneer, butter chicken, egg curry, dal makhani, navratan korma, boondi raita paranthas and payasam, all except russian salad by following your recipes and its been many years but they still remember how 'finger licking' good the food was! I tried these tava Idlis and really so much thanks ,as it makes an excellent snacks which is delicious and nutritious as well ! I replaced butter with oil,as i am a vegan !

Sanjay you should try Pragathi Dosa and Idli Beside it in Koti.. I bet you will be mesmerized and so we will when you try them here.. I so much miss Pragathi Dosa after coming to US
This is just idli, and molaha podi, as it is made in Tamilian homes, the idlies used are usually a day old(Left overs) and butter/gingelly oil/ghee, anything can be used.Further more, these idlis, can be crumbled up, and sauteed with oil ,onions, green chillies, and Hing (asafoetids), curry paththas, and served as upma
venkat Raman S. , I used to add urud and channa dhal as part of seasoning and lots of curry leaves. But never tried with onions!!!! Don't think my husband would like that!

reduce the consumption of butter and dairy products.its good for our health and many calves are being killed for the dairy products. respect and save motherhood.
