Oh really? And so is Texas small? Like the Dallas Fort Worth metropolitan area?? So is it true that everything is smaller in Texas like the whole state of Texas? And is Dallas Fort Worth small
Thanks for the slow drive down Gallaway and East Glen Rd in the downtown and southern area of my city. And that high school on the right was Mesquite H.S we've had sence 1903
Move here yet? It's a great city with good highway access and quite a few things to do. It is changing though as most cities do, some good some bad. I've lived here for more than 35yrs, minus a few years as a young man (college/travelling). A little fun history many may or may not know. Prior to 1990 downtown Mesquite was a HUGE weekend cruising/hangout spot. Both Galloway and Beltline from Whataburger (Kearney) to the new Firestation across from City Lake Park, maybe a little further. Used to get packed down there. I believe it made on of the top 10 places to cruise. It was shutdown due to hindering Fire/EMS and possibly the 1988 disappearence of two girls (Madison/Smalley) from Forest Lane (another cruise spot) in Dallas. Or atleast that's what I heard.
@@A-Doug Sorry about the late reply. It's not bad, we have our good areas and not so good like other cities. I live closer to downtown Mesquite. I sometime miss the train blairing its horn as it passed thru. City Ordinance stopped that. :(
The places you covered are just like 10 minutes away from by house, so weird seeimg it from another perspective, the closest you got to my house in this video was like a 2 minute walk 😂
Mesquite= Emmy is quite= ? You ite yeah Bitch I'm Ite bity spider crawled up the water spout Down came the rain and washed me out up come tha Sun and dried up all the rain And Return of the MAC !!

Is trash all of its trash do better for yourself. and don't be naive to the fact that why it is how it is now.
No 1 ever looks at how many ppl have cancer or commit suicide in these geographical areas. Instead we focus on crime rates and it being "ghetto". Yet whats really a crime is the air, food and daily stressors that continue to kill ppl daily!. Also what about car wrecks? Those streets seem horrible; at least in this video they do.
This wasn't even all of Mesquite. You didn't show the Rodeo or the shopping district or even the newer parts in the southeast part of the city. Not all of the streets are that bad, but it will take the city some time and money to get them done.
Exactly lol. Not even a piece of mesquite! Town east mall, the rodeo, restaurant rows, etc! Didn’t even pass mesquite bbq and he was right there! Gotta do his homework 😂
What is it like living there? I plan on moving there in like 6 months from a small town. It will be just me and my wife no kids. I just want somewhere pretty calm and not lot’s of crime. Edit: I might move to Arlington instead. Seems like a better place to live.
You did not represent Mesquite. You showed only the old parts of Mesquite, you didn't show the new suburban parts of mesquite, you didn't show any of the larger shopping area by the mall either or golf course.Really what was the point of this video!

I’ve done both
Magnificent
Living in Mesquite: It sucks, don’t be fooled by boomers who hold on to the “good old days”.
why are the roads so bad in such an important area?
The cities' maintenance is absolute BS
Welcome to DFW. All the roads around here are awful. Even in the more snooty areas.
Expansion soil!
I have family out there ‼️‼️💕
I live here😊
I so cannot wait for some sort of normal life again!! Going on a trip is top of my list !!

I promise you Arlington isn’t so much better 😂.
Don’t do it. Go somewhere like Farmers Branch, Carrolton, McKinney, Plano, Allen
That High School I heard has many sories of previous students.
Mesquite's falling apart as we speak.
