Apparently, after the boss fight, Venom had absorbed carnage (through the constant feeding to defeat him) while Peter was freed. Thats why he said he has absolute total control and his health no longer drains
I think the reason why Carnage is so hard to beat is because, he is Spider-man. Carnage has Spidey's spider sense, strength, speed, and brain, That's why Spider-man usually wins when he fights Venom. Good thing venom won and took the Carnage Symbiote, now Spider-man is free.
So Toomes injected him with their own makeshift sample of the Venom suit to try to help the leftover SUIT cells in Peter's blood,but instead,it turned him into Carnage??😧
Chris Bunny I think it’s a separate continuity from the comics cuz in the ultimate comics carnage Is actually a clone of peter with his blood & dna and memories, made by dr connors
It toke me 20 minutes to figure out how to beat carnage you dodge whatever attack he does by juumping and strike him from the air till you knock him of the ground when he does his tentacle explosion thing jump and when it goes away charge at him in the air till you get his stamina bar done then eat him thats how
My tactics: I jump when he does his first attack then do the 3 normal attacks. When he does the Tentacle Explosion I get close enough to be able to attack him and not get affected by the Tentacles. I stun him with the Tentacle once he explodes and then attack him 2 times, then repeat this again.
“Tentacle explosion” it’s spikes popping out of his body. It also showed up in the god awful episode of ultimate spiderman where green goblin turned peter into carnage.
@DJLingoEXTREME1 In the Ultimate Spiderman storyline. Spidey's DNA was used accidentally to make Carnage,so im guessing that when the Symbiote took over again, it activate that part of his DNA.
Dude I got so scared in this level after constantly dying to Carnage in a confined room I deleted my save and locked my GBA in a safe at a hotel we were staying in at the time LMAO We took it out of the safe before we left the hotel and I eventually did beat Carnage

I remember blindly entering levels and losing horribly, but my 5 or 6 year old brain recognized Spiderman so I was having fun nonetheless.

I believe that this game was canon to the comic storyline since it begins right at where the comic introduced the Venom suit, and ends in a point where life would go "back to normal" without Eddie. And if I remember correctly, in the comics, Peter gets a spiderman suit out of nowhere after the fight with Eddie in the comics and after that, nobody mentions him at all, because they think he's dead. No-one remembers Carnage, because even Peter is confused when Eddie absorbs it. But, it's my theory.

my finger slipped... but still you were comparing the tiny gameboy to a much bigger consolem. Although I agree the xbox/ps2/pc vversion was a lot more fun, actually got to free roam as all spiderman games should.
