Correct, this movie was disturbing because the girl couldn't catch a break in that house, from mother and the daughter, constantly beating her or lying on her. The ending was very disappointing because the girl didn't get to have a good life. Also when the wife returned she is going to ask the husband why didn't he tell her that the girl was his daughter because she would have treated her differently...yeah right, I have seen too many of these Nollywood movies to know that the stepmother would have still treated the stepdaughter badly.

In this case I did and I do regret it. the best thing about this movie was the gateman. I had to keep reminding my self that these are actors, performance that told the storylines. Olivia, Princess and Alfred were wrong. horrible people in this movie. greed will kill you. I couldn't stomach it I was emotionally drain. A daughter that never knew he was her father, a wicked hateful step-mother that beats her, falsely accused of sleeping with the father, the daughter goes and slap her because she over heard the lie her mother made up about the father and her step=daughter. Didn't care for the storylines. Didn't get to know her mother, nor her father, denied the right to know her father, beaten, lied on mistreated, had to wash clothes on hand when there was a washing machine. These type of movie are rubbish. Not a good ending, She should have lived. Imachi died and he never mention her name.

I didn't like this movie. The husband/father was weak, the daughter was the worst human being and the wife/stepmother was the least caring person ever. I just couldn't stomach this storyline and the ending with the first daughter/love child to end in such a tragic way. She didn't know that man was her father. Left me feeling horrible for the child. The family friend was correct to keep his daughter from princess she was just horrible.
