First saw Tim at a school function and I was hooked. That was 1964 San Gabriel High. Bought all of his albums and still have them all. Loved when they came out on CD. Bought all of those too. Saw him many times at the Prison and the Ice House. Fantastic singer and a gentleman too. Loved his shows.💕
I am 70. I and my friends used to go and see Tim Morgon play at the Prison of Socrates every week end. He is one singer that should have become a megastar. When he sang the room was absolutely quiet. He had lots of fans. Listening to him play is the reason that I fell in love with the sound of nylon string guitars and learned to play. Its been a hobby of mine now for 50 years. Art Dever
First time I saw Tim was at an assembly at Hoover High School in 1963. Bought his first album a few weeks later. I still have the vinyl. IMHO His best song and the one that should have made him a superstar is Larry Marx's "LA Breakdown.
Thank you. We helped Theodore Nikas transfer his movie, "Dirty Feet," and the original sound track to a DVD and CD transfer masters, and after his death on 21 March 2011, his wife, Susan Renaker Nikas, transferred all rights to us to the movie, the sound track, and all content, including images and recordings recorded for the film sound track but not used in the film. Thanks for your comment. We are working toward a documentary on the folk clubs once owned by the Nikas brothers.
The new release of the CD soundtrack of the movie, "Dirty Feet," starring Tim Morgon is now for sale at Amazon and at CDBaby. The recordings are all remastered Redbook Standard recordings for the best sound possible and offers a never-before-released recording of Tim Morgon singing Frank Loesser's iconic, "Joey," from "A Most Happy Fella" fame. We're selling the fourteen track soundtrack for only $15.99. Nick and Mike Campbell

One of Tim's best! Great photos of The Prison! Tim was a very big deal to a lot of us who came up in those days!
