There is an element of suspense in this story, but it can hardly be called a detective story. Similarly it can hardly be called a spy novel. So it is a prototype story , when the subcontinental people did not differentiate between suspense novels and detective novels. It is rather a novel on confessions by a dead man.
Agree. Great read and great voice as usual but what Jasoosi Mr Jasoos do at all, anyone could have found that letter under the bed.
