This is capcom’s chance to make Steve not annoying in Re CVX they fixed Ashley in Re4 remake.
They already did in re Darkside chronicles
@@moistbird7618 Darkside Chronicles isn't a Mainline game, it's a spinoff and isn't 100% cannon to the actual core story.

I don't think they fixed Ashley, they made her boring and worse. She had character in the original, now she's just a generic can-do-no-wrong piece of cardboard without an actual personality. I'd overtime with RE4 Ashley, but I wouldn't consider it with this boring one even if she begged.

CVX needs to be remade.

If they remake zero they NEED to ensure that Rebecca is an actual bad ass coming into RE 1 Remake. How it is currently, its as if RE 0 never happened.

Rebecca should be scared and rely heavily on Billy in a RE0Remake, which results in her being slightly more courageous and useful in a 2nd RE1Remake but still reliant on Chris.
They'll probably adjust the story quite a bit in a re0 remake.

This is sort of why I REALLY want a CVX remake more than I do an Outbreak Remake, or an RE0 Remake, or any other RE Remakes at this time.
1. RE CVX picks up where RE2 left off.
2. RE CVX REintroduces an important character that the ORIGINAL DIRECTORS of RE1 wanted to have make a comeback after RE1 later on aka Wesker.
3. RE CVX has Claire and Chris reunite, as was what Claire was all about in RE2 and why she was even in Raccoon City in the first place.
Still to this day I stand by my belief RE: CVX was honestly intended to be the true RE3, and RE3 Nemesis was originally going to just be called RE: Nemesis. Sure, the RE3 game we got tied some stuff together, but RE CVX honestly did it a lot better, you had Chris and Wesker from RE1 and that whole revelation and plot twist, and then you had Claire and Chris getting reunited as what was Claires main objective in RE2, it tied events and situations from two previous titles together in one game where RE3: Nemesis didn't. RE CVX is honestly a better RE3 than RE3: Nemesis.
Capcom ain’t Remaking Outbreak unless it profitable and the fandom convinces them that they really want and not just saying they want it.
@@thesilentsociety3252 The most succesful horror online multiplayer video game is a game where 4 people press a click in front of a gen and from time to time press space bar button just to escape and do it again.
The only reason Outbreak didn't work was because internet on console wasn't a thing and because DLC didn't existed yet.
If they redo Outbreak now, on Steam, by putting regularly new content like new levels or weapons every 3 months, it would be the most succesful horror online multiplayer video game ever. People are so desesperate about it that they either STILL play Outbreak on emulator, or play outbreak in another game (like L4D2 who have an entire recreation of outbreak with mods) or even inflict themself RE : Resistance.
I will never understand company like Capcom, they refuse to make things that the community have been asking for decade and will be a success even with the bare minimum efforts put in it, but they will release trash games that nobody asked for. Like seriously, RE:verse !? Who asked for a PVP Resident Evil game !? And who asked for PSVR2 games !? The 100 people in the world that owns a PSVR headset !?

Code Veronica very much WAS going to be Resident Evil 3, until Sony stomped in screaming and crying that they wanted RE3, but Capcom had already made the deal to put the game on Sega's console.
So Capcom did the easy choice, they renamed the cheap asset-flip sidegame that was coming to Playstation as RE3(aka RE: Nemesis) and renamed what was RE3 into "Code Veronica"

That is the most B.S. take I've heard about Outbreak ever.
The game was amazing when the official servers were up, and yeah it sucked because from 2003 to 2005 most families were still on Dial-Up internet and most games were designed with Dial-up in mind. But that did not stop RE Outbreak games from being good or caused them to fail.
@@FalcoMoment Please stop spreading misinformation. People tend to say that a lot and yeah re3 wasn't originally going to be re3 that's right, but cvx was also never meant to be re3 you can easily find this out with a little research
OK so Zero graphically doesn't need remaking, I'm still blown away to this day at how graphically impressive Zero is, maybe just gameplay... RE1... not needed imo.
CVX would be a welcomed remake...
And 5... not necesserily needed.

I truly truly think VERY few people have inside to Resident Evil info and the ones who do don't spill the beans. I think people also have bad sources. Plus people are now saying IGN backed up Dusks claims when they said Capcom didn't say anything.

Well, there's quite a few leaks for Capcom games that end up being true. And it could be that Capcom decided to spread some fake rumors around to dilute the credibility of the real ones. That being said, I don't really care. Their game releases when it releases and I can decide later if I want it or not.

The dream for me is to remake 0 and 1 and combine them. think about it. both are short games by modern standards and also updated to re2r style would make them extremely quick playthroughs. so why not combine both into 1 long game with different chapters. multiplayer could also be implemented in this. Play as Billy and Rebecca, and when you reach the mansion you play as Jill and Chris. you could expand the lore of both games and link them so much better than original 0 and 1. would also allow for a canon ending for 1 :D

Re0 remake when you consider its locations and enemy types ect, could be one of the highest potential for an amazing remake, modern lighting on a train and the atmosphere, plus story adjustments. Thinking about the rain and wind with ray tracing in a modern engine, especially on the moving train.
I'm an old school Silent Hill fan but short of a SH3 Remake, I'm most excited about Code Veronica X! Love that game, can't wait to see it! 💗

RE0 Remake is my preference over CVX but both deserve a modern remake.
Zero was interesting. The worst thing in my opinion was the leech hunter mode.
I still think they should go Zero, 1, CV and then 5 just to keep the hole Chris / Wesker Storyline in order.
If they make Steve a little bit likeable, and have both Dreamcast and PS2 version's cutscenes for Wesker and Alexia (Wesker getting his a$$ kicked then doing his wall run) and of course don't stray too much from the original. CV remake would be great. RE Zero actually holds up excellent today, but that was a good game too so wouldn't mind a remake.
Zero would probably be a test bed for RE5 remake. They make it co-op and they throw every horror element they've accumulated over the years. Best case scenario. But I hate re0 and CVX, so they can come and go as a long as I care

Only way RE0 remake is real is they plan on doing them all in order. Because if its just for money RE1 or RE5 will be done before it. Even CVX would prob get more hype and sales.

The only game that need a remake are CVX. RE0 I feel can be ported with better controls and minor changes in the gameplay. Still am sick of seeing so much rumour and fake images on RE remakes/new games. Fans need to be patient and just wait for Capcom to speak. I feel like I'm the only one bummed out about operation javier not being included in RE4 remake, considering Krauser being treated more seriously in the remake.

The point is to remake a bad game that had good jdeas and bring those good ideas to fruition. That's why CV needs a remake more so than RE2 or Nemesis did.
So basically Capcom is making a $200 million remake for every RE game that hasn't been remade yet and also RE1 again. Yeah, sure I'll believe all those rumors, kay?
Well, never believe anything until something's annonced obviously. People kept saying new Nintendo console releasing this year from 'credible' sources. I just used a good dose of common sense and looked at Nintendo's past behaviour regarding consoles and concluded it wasn't happening before late 2025. And look and behold, I was right. Nintendo confirmed that they will drop details of their new console before the fiscal year ends in march 2025. If they were gonna give details this year, they wouldn't have phrased it like that so it'll be next year. And if it's near the end of the fiscal year, then the earliest that they'll release a new console will be... late 2025. But it could easily be 2026 as well.

RE 0 two player would be great. We can also get a more cohesive narrative between 0 and the REmake.
