Thank you so much for this video it is fascinating to see Port Louis, Mauritius. I am loving this little country in the middle of the Indian Ocean. The resorts and the beaches are outstanding and so clean and beautiful with all the opulence and glamour of a gem the One & Only, Four Seasons OMG. Now Port Louis the capital. Just like my name Louis. It looks like it is a safe city during the day, Is it safe at night to go to a nice fancy dinner and then go dancing or enjoy a piano bar and jazz? Thank you kindly Louis from New Jersey in the grand ole US of A.
When I was in Mauritius I worked at Blyth Bros, a British firm on the waterfront, in Port Louis where the Caudan now stands. Thank you for the tour, so nice to see the old streets of the Capital again.
@@BryanDiscoversWorld I always enjoy your videos on the places that you visit in Mauritius. They are fun and informative. I like your joyful perseverance. You surely have seen much more of Mauritius than many of us who are abroad. There are now many ways of transport to get from one place to another. Mauritius has come such a long way! When I went back to Mauritius in 1975 I hired a car from a private owner for $AU 5 per day, a real bargain, but at one stage when I was making a turn in a rather quiet street in Vacoas the steering wheel became loose and free and I was holding it in my hands! Enjoy your tours of Mauritius and its exotic food.
I have just booked to go mauritius for the first time and i like what i see already..... All my tropical travel previously has been in the caribbean region, jamaica, dominican republic, barbados ect so it will be interesting to see a completely different region. How is mauritius in terms of safety?
@@BryanDiscoversWorld That's great... It's deffo a lot safer than some parts of the caribbean i have been to then. When i go to a country i like to explore a lot and go where the locals are but when i was in the Dominican Republic for example you had to be so careful away from tourist areas and never walk the beaches at night. Jamaica as well.
14:53 - if you knew how much I tried to find out what is being built there. I've searched all over the Internet and there's nowhere to find the layout of that putative station (some say it's a temporary station). These project details are kept in total opacity. I'd love to see the work in progress
Don't the graphics on the hoardings by the motorway, which are by Metro Express or Larsen & Toubro (I can't remember exactly), indicate that it's a continuation of the railway line?
@@BryanDiscoversWorld Indeed. The Aapravasi Ghat station did not receive approval from UNESCO. That's the reason they a building this 'temporary' one. I hope it stays permanently there next to Gare du Nord
Are their less populated areas there? I'm a country boy and love the more solitary areas, haha. I can tolerate crowds for those beautiful beaches there though!
Oh my God crazy... Bryan is back again like BAT MAN..... HE IS DESAPEAR AND MAGIC.... THE NEW ADVENTURE BEGIN.... AND YOU HAVE SO MANY MONEY AND YOU EAT ALL MAURITIUS DAY AND NIGHT.... AND HAVE YOU DO THE RIGHT THING... TO GIVE POOR PEOPLE SOME FOOD TO SURVIVE... HAVE YOU A HEART TO BE KIND LIKE YOUR PROPHET JESUS CHRIST... YOU WILL LOVE THE HUMAN WHO HAVE NO FOOD 🎬🎥⚀⚄⚂⚃

You are welcome, and Port Louis is safe at night, but the night life with what you want is mostly in Grand Baie. Although there is some in the Capital

It is very safe, some minor pickpocketing in the main cities

@@jamconnell1377 mauritius is not like that, you will love it
Mtius is one of the relatively safest places to be in the whole world. I grew up there, now living in Melbourne Aust for the past 15 years

I heard it will be near Aapravasi ghat, but not much more than that

There are some places with almost no people, and some great secret beaches as well.

The sesame cake is called sesame ball in english or the ' laughing ball ' in chinese
Oh, great. I guess that is why he called it a smiley cake
