Voting for Trump is a poor execution of trying to get the change.
From the time blacks got the right to vote until 1960, they voted Republican. There was still a long ways to go for equality, but there were no ghettos, the family unit was whole, they were educated.
From 1960 to today they've voted Democrat. Can anyone honestly say things have improved for black people since then?

I am a Jamaican who moved to Canada in 2019. I keep hearing these blacks in America complaining about "racism." Why can't I see this "racism" in the comment section?
Some people are looking too hard for racism. I live here in Canada now, and I just moved to one of the most conservative provinces with my family. From the time I hot got here until today, I've NEVER dealt with this so-called "racism," and remember now, I'm a BLACK man from Jamaica.

Dr Umar caught the essence of what I imagine most black feel. 👍 Not being black, but being a woman, I believe I know the sense of always swimming against the tide. President Trump’s strong attitude and non apologetic attitude have always made me want to vote for him 👍. I’ve also watched how he has made it through, say, the last decade and I can’t say there’s anyone I admire more. I suspect there’s less than 1% of our population who could take what’s been thrown his way, and keep going. The difference in mindsets couldn’t have been clearer than during the debate. 👍

I'm an older (late 60's) white American.
I've noticed from my teen years up to the 2020 election.
Democrats have been coming out (since I can remember) making promises to the Black population. The cycle is repeated every 4 years.
The Democrat gets voted in all the promises that were made go out the window nothing ever changes then again 4 years fly by and the Black population votes for the democrats after receiving nothing.
My question is Why would the Black population continue to vote for a party that hasn't done anything for them.
I'm glad to see that the tide is starting to turn to a more individualism type of thinking instead of the robotic programming that seems to be happening for decades.
Because Democrats pound "it's Republicans' fault....Republicans bad" into their heads, daily, and intensify it during election years. It's brainwashing. If they're still voting blue after the last 4 years of having money to give freely to illegals and taking care of other countries, yet zero for black Americans, it's hopeless.
But why many don't look at history to know the Dems are the racist party and have kept them dependent.
