Half the guys who were on my team in high school basically lived by his advice every time they hit the ball: Just rip it. Unfortunately they hit half the balls into the net or out too, but when they got it in it was exciting haha.
That perfectly describes him. Hits it hard and fast but can’t get it in the court half the time so you’re giving free points to the opponents. They probably cheer every time it’s his serve.
@nubkiminal Pasteur is a much better server than Thiim... Pasteur averages .37 aces per set, while Thiim averages .21. Pasteur has 85 career aces, and Thiim has 35. It's not even close dude
I've seen both Thiim and Pasteur play IN PERSON. Both have outstanding jump serves. But comparing them head to head in their current roles is "Apples and Oranges". Keoni is coming OFF THE BENCH cold and not in any game rhythm and trying to rip a serve at 80 mph, and Jacob is on the court full time, attacking front row, back row, and getting multiple serving chances each set. That makes it much easier for Jacob to get use to the surroundings, find his rhythm and be confident to rip his serve. Getting ONE chance per set and the pressure that goes along with that one chance when you sub in is a distinct disadvantage. That doesn't mean I don't think Jacob isn't as good or better than Keoni. It means you can't truly compare their stats head to head and get an accurate evaluation as to which guy is really better! Both are incredible!
@@locomojoboy2theres a reason you see a lot of professional players hit serves out or into the net, coaches would rather you stuff up then give opposing team an easy receive and absolutely roll you with a hard hit, destroy your momentum and then proceed to ride off of it
@@minhyboi157 please don’t compare this guy to professionals. It’s very insulting to professionals. Professionals don’t gift opposing teams as many free points as this guy does with his super fast serves that can never get in the court more than 50% of the time. Opponent teams look forward to him serving because there’s a very high probability that he’ll give them a free point every time.
@locomojoboy2 true, professional players can serve even faster, and still with higher accuracy then this guy. Unless we are talking about lower leagues, where his serves can work more on opponent's mental, than his team scoring points
Would love for you guys to react to the 2023 Women's D1 National Championship game of Texas vs. Nebraska just like you did with the 2021 Wisconsin vs. Nebraska match!!
Lol #1 server in the nation. GTFO of here. He isn’t even the best server on the team. Dude can barely keep it in the court half the time. He gifts the opponents more points than any other server.

One of my favorite players in the NCAA right now. Rooting for you Keoni!
Same
I hate to be that guy, but the number 1 server in the NCAA is Jacob Pasteur, he had an 80 mph serve the other day
at the time of filming keonster was on top💪
Hater!!!!
Luke benson did it first
This was filmed before that serve, also just because he serves slightly faster it doesn’t necessarily make him a better server

Love these brothers. Thank you for representing UH Hawaii.
Hoping to see him in more games this season

Ngl I’m pretty sure Keoni misses like 50% of his serves it’s bad. He got power tho
Power don’t mean sht if you can’t even get it in the court

Now, There is a rising star, Lousie Sakanoko of UH Warriors.
In the history of Univ of Hawaii, I think Keoni Thiim and Jason Ring have the highest verticals.
How long ago was this recorded? Keoni hasnt had that haircut for awhile lol.
When we were in town for our annual grass tournament The Luau
(2023 summer)
Hilir Henno is the best server in the nation
Flightreacts is omnipresent
played against dat braddah at nationals lmao we got shlammed
Bros a god
@@OutofSystemOfficial he bounced a ball over our 7ft middle... at that point the game was lost😂
If he goes pro, do you think he will be at a disadvantage cause of his height? Or he'll be converted into a libero like Gage 😂
He could be the next yuji nishida
He ain't going pro
he could def go pro@@Bigboibeven
183cm/6ft is manageable with an according vertical, but not with one of the top teams. Probably a smaller league like France, Germany or Netherlands.
It he can't even be a starter for his college team, how is he gonna go pro?

henno is the best server
Brother Joe is still hot and cute
Dont cut out the misses, just give us longer videos like 15 minutes
