12:12 Originally the Spanish would decimate entire Mayan Villages". Funny how they use to tell us in the States that the Mayans just mysteriously disappeared. Now we know how some of them did.
Not really.. the indigenous groups in Guatemala are descendants of the Mayan of the great cities of the classical period. The Mayan culture disappeared almost completely, some of the people migrated North but by the time the Spanish arrived they were only this smaller groups who descendent from them and didn’t have the same level of technological and scientific progress.
When he said, “cuando expulsaron a los Alemánes” they translated it into “when they got rid of local animals”. Like if you realized it too.
Thanks for doing these expeditions to exotic locations in the tropics. I'm somewhat crippled, and traveling has been prohibitive for quite a few years. I can live vicariously through You tube videos like yours. It's always cool to see, and listen to the actual people who live in these places rather than only a host narrator reading a script. A great show!
Wua guatemala is beautiful 🇬🇹🇬🇹🇬🇹🇬🇹

Amazing video!
Wow, I learned a lot about coffee that I love to drink, thank you again. God bless you, jovencito.
Fascinating there are 23 Mayan languages! How did the Mayan empire hold itself together with so many?
Each of the 23 groups had its own empire essentially, for example the Qeqchi in this video had their own and the Yucatán in Mexico governed themselves too
@@yeameow it's shameful that the Spanish enslaved the Maya. One question, did the Maya enslave others as well?
@@yeameow can u cite references?
Thanks for sharing this video coffee ☕ yummy 😋
Correction to your translation:. When he's talking about how big the fields are he is talking about HECTARES not acres.
8:47 When they got rid of the Germans …cuando expulsaron a los Alemanes..
Good that they are exporting coffee to so many countries, which is making me proud of them, the garden estate was also very intresting to see on how the production of the coffee happens!

Very interesting your report! Thanks ...we have learned a lot....about coffee, and the dishonest Spanish! They came with Christanity like he said, but not the real one! The Roman catholic church....Jesus have never said to go and kill people in the name of religion....He said to be peacemakers, bringging the hope of his sacrifice for us for our sins....Thats the good news!....Just for your info....and thanks again for your well done video!
