If you're interested in learning more about Dimash as a person I highly recommend "The Ultimate Dimash Guide" by LiLaSi. It's split into 12 parts(around 10 min each, though it varies a bit depending on topic), and is very well made and easy to follow. What I think makes it the most valuable though is that it allows Dimash to speak for himself by compiling relevant clips and interviews(as opposed to just throwing his wikipage at you), so you get to hear his thoughts first-hand and come to your own conclusions. They usually makes for good reactions as well since there's a lot to talk about.

Well, the story of this Rock Punk Opera is controversial. There is a poor young couple, man and woman who created a gang to take a justice in their own hands by robbing and stealing from the rich and giving to the poor. Kinda Robyn Hood or Bonny & Clyde thing. At the end the girlfriend has shot by the police and the boyfriend sings this final aria over her dead body and it is not clear either he regrets the path he has chosen to pursue the justice that brought his lover to be killed or he does not regret but just is crying how there is no justice in this world generally. Kinda idealistic way of thinking that there should be an equality and a justice in the wealth distribution and in all other spheres of life, like in French national motto: Liberté, égalité, fraternité (liberty, equality, fraternity), or like at the the First Article of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, or like in all main religions. It sounds good theoretically but not achievable in the real world in my opinion. Historically there were many idealist thinkers and probably Dimash one of them. Although in his biggest musical creation till these days The Story of One Sky he admits that we have already passed the moment of "Imagine" and need some action.

Well, the story of this Rock Punk Opera is controversial. There is a poor young couple, man and woman who created a gang to take a justice in their own hands by robbing and stealing from the rich and giving to the poor. Kinda Robyn Hood or Bonny & Clyde thing. At the end the girlfriend has shot by the police and the boyfriend sings this final aria over her dead body and it is not clear either he regrets the path he has chosen to pursue the justice that brought his lover to be killed or he does not regret but just is crying how there is no justice in this world generally. Kinda idealistic way of thinking that there should be an equality and a justice in the wealth distribution and in all other spheres of life, like in French national motto: Liberté, égalité, fraternité (liberty, equality, fraternity), or like at the the First Article of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, or like in all main religions. It sounds good theoretically but not achievable in the real world in my opinion. Historically there were many idealist thinkers and probably Dimash one of them. Although in his biggest musical creation till these days The Story of One Sky he admits that we have already passed the moment of "Imagine" and need some action.
