For more clear vocals you should listen to MR removed one video which the same channel has uploaded and asked to use headphones. It came in suggestions when this video ended.
And this music video of chen(beautiful goodbye) was live. I mean he talked about it in an interview, as we all know most of music videos are lip sync and they make music videos based on dance choreography or a concept and a story. For all singers (western and kpop singers) but chen told it is hard for him to do lipsync for music video and it is a vocal-based music video so he want to do a live music video (like this video u reacted to. it is also live) . So he sang live for *6 hours* to make the music video in the best way possible. I am really proud of him.
He's Chen and Baekhyun's vocal teacher...actually I'd like to take the oppotunity to thank all EXO's vocal teachers including Im hanbyul Yoo youngjin who in one of the best producers in South Korea ...and finally SHINee's member the genius Jonghyun (may he rest in peace) who was one of the best vocalists in the industry too who was also D.O's vocal coach Because of those people and others too (I can't remember their names) EXO and SM artists are the best vocalists in the industry I'm really thankful to them cuz they taught the boys very well💖

You don't need to apologize, I think we went a bit crazy with the requests for this because NO ONE was doing it huhu. Like, Chen is so amazing and so is Im Han Byul but because this is an Im Han Byul song, no one actually followed its release closely... and Chen is very underrated even among fans in my opinion. Like we all boast about him but when it comes to actually supporting his solo endeavors... the Korean general public does a bit more. So they were requests of desperation haha. This song makes me cry so much because it's like seeing your little brother grow up. We've never heard him sing this way. Of course he has adlibs and his rock solos and all those covers of female singers and duets with female powerhouses in their original keys, but mainly the songs that he's done aren't filled with all these things. I just wish for Chen to one day be recognized for his singing because he's probably the only member that desires nothing else but to do music (other members are great actors, and major brand models).
Idk if you'd ever read this comment but actually Chen is really good at adjusting his singing style with whoever his singing partner is. I think you should watch (if you'd react it would be wonderful, but no pressure!) his other duet I'll recommend some later but my point actually is, while presenting really amazing singing techniques, he still let Onestar (Korean name Im Hanbyul) to have the bigger spotlight, like the two climax highnote runs at the bridge. Because this song is originally Hanbyul's, he was just featuring in. You probably aware that the climax of the song was actually sung by Hanbyul, right?
