Just here to encourage the Mom that might watch this and wonder why their grieving process looks so different. For the mom still in tears, for the mom still in bed, for the mom struggling to care for themselves or their families, for the mom still in stained pjs, for the mom that notices the emptiness more than the fullness, for the mom who is frustrated/angry/lost - God sees and loves you. He welcomes your grief in all stages. He will see you through this pain and loss whether healing comes in the morning or in Heaven. Thank you for that! I’ve been thinking this since seeing her journey. Coming from two stillbirths and counseling women who have gone through miscarriage. It looks different. I’m worried this gives women a unreal expectation on how they are supposed to grief.
Its so refreshing seeing influencers not showing their kids online and trying to protect their faces.

I think you are writing a devotional!! I love your content Melina, it’s so encouraging to see another believer so boldly live out her calling and speak his word unapologetically.
I’m not religious but still enjoy your content so much! You don’t push your beliefs, you just live your life and educate and share your thoughts in an authentic way. So it actually feels comforting seeing how you practice your faith and peaks my interest versus feeling like you’re constantly preaching.

My mom recently showed me a note that she has in her Bible with my name and a date from like 7 years ago. I was struggling with a misunderstanding in my marriage so I asked her for advice, she showed me this and told me “I still pray as hard as when God answered this prayer over you” It was so special an it made me feel like my mom has my husband’s and mines back espiritualy! ❤
Sorry for your loss Milena ❤ I just found out today I either had a total miscarriage or a false pregnancy today. I had a positive test and all the symptoms but no baby today (should’ve been 7 week). Definitely heartbreaking and sucks not knowing why. Praying for you and your family

Aww sweet girl I am so sorry. I have had at least one & possibly two . . . We prayed through it all & know God is bringing new life back! He has that for you too!! Thank you so much that means a lot! ❤ it was definitely a complete shock because I had two healthy pregnancies before with my boys and even though it was soon I was so excited to have another one so close (I have a2 and a half year old and 6 month old). Just praying the Lord will bless us with a third baby in his timing!

11:10 My mom recently told me that "doing nothing is doing something"... I am often overwhelmed and I was going to have a few moments of peace and quiet during my toddler's nap. I had mentioned to my mom that I didn't even know what was the best thing to get done during that time, I said I really felt like doing nothing... Doing nothing is a rare occurrence for me... She told me, do nothing, that's still doing something... I know we want to be efficient with our time and there is always something. If we wait for there to be nothing to do then there will never be the right moment to do nothing... All that to say... Sometimes doing nothing is ok. It meant a lot coming from my mom because she was always busy and it's just as she has gotten older that she has slowed down. I take it as a piece of wisdom coming from her .
I had a miscarriage in late December, I never gave myself the time I needed to really grieve and heal. My husband and I conceived again only a short time after by God’s grace. Your videos have been so helpful in giving me the “okay” feeling that I needed to grieve. Being 22 weeks along now, your story hit harder than I expected. I was left feeling like I wasn’t allowed to grieve or still praise God for His blessing. My husband isn’t usually a fan of vlogging videos, I usually watch your videos on my own but he actually put on your video about your loss on and we just silently cried together and mourned. For you and your baby, and for our baby.

milena, I am so grateful for you. I started watching back when you were pregnant with Alethea. And first of all it’s been amazing to watch your family grow and to watch you grow so much in your faith. I saw a lot of myself in you then and so I always felt connected to watch. And man oh man god did that for a reason. Your content recently has pulled me so close to the lord. You and Jordan, nava, tori and chad… wow. I’m so grateful for you all and praying for you all because it is hard work what you all are doing. I’ve never felt such a personal calling to learn who God is even though I’ve been a Christian my whole life. I know this comment is a little late but I hope you see it knowing how much you all change lives by bringing people to God. A few years ago I had one of the most devastating years of my life. During I was so sad, depressed, angry and asking why, but I kept a prayer journal. At the end of the year I read it all to reflect and realized every single one of my prayers was answered through a devastation. Like every single devastation that happened followed a week later with a prayer answered. But I couldn’t see that because my judgement was clouded through the devastation. We need the rain to see the sunshine. It was very eye opening to see.
As someone who has experienced a miscarriage I feel like the title comes off as insensitive… 😔I wish I can get back into swing of things
Milena, I want to thank you for sharing that you prayed for your intimate life aswell through loss. We have a loss in the family and it has caused separation just through logistics (nothing personal), so after watching your video, I prayed for protection through separation, prayed for intimacy, and connection. And God has delivered. I wouldn’t have thought to pray for this otherwise. And it makes me want to praise God through the valley. God is good

Here's my honest opinion as a non-christian... Everything you do in the name of Jesus reflects my own practices, although we use different words we are talking about the same divinity, gratitude and love for our families, love for what life has provided us.

Im sorry for your loss. Ive had 2 late miscarriages at 6 months and it was the hardest thing. We never get over it we learn to deal with it day to day. Always stay positive and love yourself. We are stronger then we know. You are beautiful inside and out.
Videos like this are my favorite. When it’s just you talking about God and how good he is and what he’s done for your family. You’re very inspirational. I see you writing a prayer book or an inspirational book or even teaching the Bible in someway. I would listen for sure.
That's amazing you have help for things like planting! I have 3 littles and I have to do so much without help. But my family does help in other ways. I'm just praying I get some help with my yard soon! Yours is looking nice 🙂

Hey Milena, this video was hard for me to watch because it just felt insensitive to everyone who is or has gone through the grieving process. I understand that everyone has their own coping process, and I hope that you’re truly okay and healing through this process, I know that God can do a lot of things but please don’t forget to grieve and feel every emotion that comes with it, and I hope you recover safely❤

we do have footage of that 🤎 not ready to look back on it- it's painful to think about re-living the excitement we felt in those moments only to be met with such grief. but those videos are still cherished as memories and prayerfully will one day be helpful in our healing

I’m quite spiritual but not religious. I deeply admire Jesus Christ and hold him as a standard of what we should aspire to be like, though I am not Christian and tend to have a spirituality that lies somewhere in between Christian beliefs/ideologies and ancient Egyptian ideologies. I only say this to emphasize that even though our faiths are quite different, I still receive so much from all your videos and value your perspective and willingness / shamelessness in expressing them with conviction. But I especially value your homemaking / organization / self-care content. To some it may seem “shallow” or unimportant, but as someone who struggled with lifelong depression that really affected my ability to care for my basic needs/hygiene (and only started coming out of it the last few years), observing the routines and gentle discipline and accountability you teach your children almost feels like re-parenting me to know what a healthy home-life is like and a healthy way to care for one’s self and others. So thank you!!

I’m guessing a modest clothing line or something like that! But seriously so proud of you for continuing to press into what the Lord is calling you to, even if it means people might not like it! Jesus tells us in scripture that the world might hate us as it hated Him (John 15:18). Personally it’s really encouraged me to see you standing up for truth and what the Lord has convicted you personally on!
