Uneducated (censorshipped), unexperienced fans think that the first name is the dominant character, the second the fragile character. And many think dominant= male= top, fragile = female = bottom. Unfortunately this hetero fantasy was given by the first Thai BL writers to make the boys characters more emotional understandable for the majority of young female viewers. The writers 6-8 years back then could not explain the tender, careful, soft boy/young man love without a female attitude. They had to be a couple everybody can have empathy with - and female viewers only have female empathy. So the cliche top/bottom is generally false cause its not by a gender or character but physically comfort intensity and mood. There is much more than 2 and by the way the most any couples are "side" when very experienced, stressed, tired, sick, different tall, different heavy or pregnant ...☺ Just said for our young fellows.

I think Thailand finally are in for a really healthy trend that I’m supporting wholeheartedly to 100%. I don’t ship actors and I think this whole shipping-thing has gotten way out of hand. Recently though, a lot of actors have started ”coming out” with who their real life partners are. I applaude them and support them for this! 👏🏻👍🏻❤️ For some reason though there are fans who can’t separate fiction from real life and suddenly stop supporting these actors, which is completely silly and very immature. I think his answer about which name comes first is another healthy trend. Why does it matter who’s name comes first or last? They are not a couple! And even if they were, why should the order of the name have any significant matter of any kind at all? Why have people made it significant to whether you are a ”top” or ”bottom”?! Cuz How is that anyones business anyway?! 🤷♀️ it’s like asking a straight couple if they do it the missionairy style or doggystyle and somehow feel entitled to know about that information. If someone really wants to talk about these kind of stuff then that’s fine, but people should now their boundaries before asking those kind of questions.
