Watching this makes me so proud, I remember spending days in the dance studio with her and our other good friends in our ballet class. She was always so sweet and such a hard working person. I remember her telling me she wanted to be a K-pop idol, and now seeing it happen makes me so incredibly happy and proud of her. Us in Milwaukee love you so much Lexi ❤❤❤❤

Lexi I’m really proud of how far you’ve got here! The journey to where you are now today wasn’t easy at all. There was a lot of hard moments you have to face and I’m happy you got through that. I also want to include though I’m not Hmong, I’m really happy many people who identify as Hmong can see another Hmong person who’s being known on big screens. It makes me happy since I’ve grown up along side hmong culture especially since I’m not Hmong or Asian. I always heard the phrase “People don’t even know what Hmong is” from classmates or friends which made me sad. It’s also something I relate to within my culture. Now people can finally see the representation. Lexi may be the first Hmong girl to debut in K-pop which is really cool. Once again im so proud of you..!!!!
Fun fact, Lexi is actually my cousin!! She's from my dad's side, when I was 7 or 8, my dad would tell me about how she was a ballerina. I was so inspired by her!! I've never met her before, but I'm hoping someday I will. 😊

Go Lexi! I'm Mien and Hmong is the most closely related culturally and ethnically. In Laos and Thailand, lots of Mien people speak Hmong due to the proximity of their villages. Great to see that Hmong people are getting recognition for their talents.
