I have the Prism which I love. I'm giving it to my partner and buying the Pro for more power. I'll let y'all know what I think. I'm about 3.5 and 4 months in to playing PB.
Great video. The carbon flash (more expensive) has a better twist weight and also slightly heavier. If one were to put lead tape on the prism flash, I would presume it would get more power but would it lose its plushness compared to the carbon prism? Or is the plushness the same on both? With a higher twist rating, would thus mean the sweet spot on the prism flash (cheaper one) be smaller? And therefore would adding lead make the sweet spot expand but keep the plush and control?
Thanks for the comment! I would say this is an example where the scientific numbers might not fully reflect real world usage I have played with both paddles stock and weighted up with lead tape and i would say they both get better with lead They both have a better sweet spot and a more plush feeling with lead…but in my experience i would say the Prism has a better sweet spot and a more plush feeling But the lead does help soften up the Flash (Orange) and give it a bit more punch without sacrificing too much pop And for reference i tend to like my paddles a bit heavier so i have my Pro Flash at 8.6oz and my Prism at 8.8oz
@@gh4534 I’ve found that i personally like the weights more on the sides of the paddles opposed to the bottom corners like i see a lot of people do because it feels like the paddle plows through the ball better with certain shots Bottom corners is also a nice setup and you certainly don’t notice the added weight as much…but i also feel like you don’t get as much benefit with it down there
The edge tape is actually just electrical tape! It’s super cheap and comes in a variety of colors. The overgrips i have on these is Tournagrip, but I think I’m making the switch to Luqi grips soon.
Thanks for breaking down the paddle names at the beginning, it’s been so confusing LOL
Thanks for the review! Appreciate your insights!
Thanks Man! I needed this badly
@@andrewpham8665 No problem! Glad i could help out.

@@scooterreviewsstuff ok those weights are higher than what I can tolerate. where are you putting the lead tape and why there?

Terrible naming. Too close to each other
I agree! Hopefully they’ll fix their naming system soon.

It's a style he chooses, just like people can choose to have manners or not.
