Hey Matt, I'm only about 10mins into your video. I just wanted to mention that I have a yellow cheeks E3 Pikachu. As far as I've read (going back about 10 years), the red cheeks version is indeed a variant and not an error. The reason it sells for so much is there were way more yellow cheeks given out than the red
