UCI World Cup Lenzerheide - Team KMC Orbea

After a short break to recover, the team travels to Switzerland for the 5th World Cup of the season, The Bike Kingdom in Lenzerheide is really well known around the cycling world and never disappoints.
As last year, the good weather was present during all the week and led to having the best conditions to race. The track is technical, with many roots, rock gardens and few places to recover every lap.
The short track on friday started with a small crash for Pierre de Froidmont, who managed to fight back and finish in 22nd position, Sebastian Fini got a second row for sunday with a 15th position and Erik Haegstad crossed the line in 28th position. Malene Degn also did a solid race with a 22nd position.
After the last tranings on saturday and with more than ten thousand spectators, the XCO race on sunday was a tough one for all but we managed to compete at the highest level, again. Pierre de Froidmont did a great race finishing in 18th position and Janika Loiv, who didn't compete in the short track to keep recovering after the car accident, managed to finish in 24h position.
There's no time to stop now! Next week, Andorra!
