How did you fix this? My battery went low ans now I have the exact same problem. Fault code U0101 . Loss of communication to TCM. Its a 2015 challenger. It won't start, ans it won't shift out of Park. Yet it states it not in Park when it's actually locked in Park.
So even though you got the U0101 code, where there is no communication to the TCM... you still say that a reflash fixed it? I'm having the same exact problem. After rebuilding my engine, it won't start.
I’m going to flash mines I just got a rebuilt engine an it’s doing the same thing I then looked everywhere to see if it was a bad ground or wire but nothing everything is good so I’m just go take it up there or do it on the OBD2 port

Remove the battery 🔋 and wait 40 minutes or more if that not fixed your problem
You have to flash all the system by online problem like mine

Yes that is happening after rebuilding the engine make sure all wiring is connected to transmission

Ground you need lefter to leaft the vehicle and you need WITICH online chrysler Fiat online program

First if you can get ander the car 🚗 check driver sid there is wire shasy make sure that wire not striped to shasy if not after do the flush

Check ur engine ground I have the same problem on one of my customers 2015 charger fund no ground on the engine block just fixed today
