In Japan, “Ryu” is sometimes used as a suffix for a class or school
So Shirai-Ryu would be translated as “School of Shirai” which makes sense, given that Harumi is one of the founders
You guys ought to do Smoke, Sub-Zero, and Raiden's towers next. Without going into spoily detail, their endings kind of add to this in some way.

You're guys so cool but Kuai Liang looks much better as Sub-Zero than Scorpion, fire and yellow doesnt fit him
There's honestly something really poetic about the final boss death scene with two Scorpions at the end: Kuai Liang is beating up Shang Tsung which makes sense because Shang took a special interest in Kuai if you look at how he says "he's a feisty one" to General Shao in the story mode, and there's even intro dialogues that Shang has with Kuai where he's offering him several chances to join him as an apprentice of sorts. And of course, Hanzo Hasashi (kameo Scorpion) beating up Quan Chi makes all the sense in the world considering his history with Quan Chi in previous timelines.
Sorry for nerding out, I just thought that was a really awesome detail you guys might've overlooked. Great video as always!

Ryu means Dragon in Japanese which is funny because Scorpion in this game does the Izuna drop in his fatal blow which is what Ryu Hayabusa from Ninja Gaiden and DOA did 😆
