Thanks Mike . Whether it be the RZC 54 all the way up to the HD models of Spartan mowers . Those who purchase the mowers will be amazed at what they get for their purchase. Spartan is a great mower.
I like these mowers, but honestly I’m more concerned with the lack of customer service when you have a warranty issue. The customer service reviews I’ve read have been horrible. I’ve tried asking questions on their social media pages and no one has bothered to reply.
My worry as well with how every complaint is just that, I dont feel like having to deal with a Manuf using the dealer as a buffer to push the issue off if thats the case.
Hershell, Spartan went through a few periods without a social media manager. I’m very sorry we didn’t answer. Our business is structured to support our 450+ dealers, who then supports the customer. That way the customers gets support and service from someone local. That said, we now have someone who answers social media questions.
I would have bought one if my dealer had one with a kawasaki engine. They are a beast of a machine and very comfortable and well built. They were better priced than the competitors with the same specs.
I just bought the rz with 48" deck and went from 1.5 hrs to mow to less than 30 mins. Super comfy and I was going to buy tech pack for better comfort but it's not need for me.
The RZ-HD series seem to have a nice thickly cushioned seat.. In models lower than the RZ-HD, the seats all look awful thin with not much padding. At least that what it looks like.
Operator comfort is key. We make it a point to offer a nicer seat then competing models. RZ-HD seat is nicer than the other RZ’s BUT the others have a bolstered seat that holds you in place with great cushion. Please sit in it and compare the feel to other brands in similar price points. You will be impressed
@@youtubemike Sounds good Mike.. I will try the seats on the different mower models.. But the more I mow, the more I know I need a mower that has a comfortable ride. Super important!!
Likely buying one next week. What’s the benefit in spending the extra money on a pro? To me, the pro isn’t even worth the upgrade from the RZ base. You get a seat strut that you can buy aftermarket for $150, the option to buy radial tires(bias plys are standard), and tuff torq 450’s. When you spec the TT450 to the TT400 on TT’s website, literally the only thing you get is .5 mph more speed. They’re rated for the same weight, same torque, same wheel/tire size, both are 10cc pumps. Identical in every aspect, except for that .5 mph. Seems silly to even offer it. Either getting the RZ base or RZ HD.
Patrick Farrell I have a Spartan 54” RT With a Kawasaki FR691V 32 run hours and won’t run. Dealer says parts are back ordered with no end date. Spartan Customer service was no help with resolution and told me to take it up with the dealer. Very poor support and reliability.
Patrick, Are they engine parts? In this industry, the engine manufacturers warranty and service the engine through the dealer. Spartan doesn’t carry engine parts. Let me know and I’ll try to help
Yes the fuel solenoid was bad. Kawasaki FR691. I am learning about the warranty process. I asked Spartan to provide a contact for Kawasaki engines. Their response was to take it up with the dealer.
@@patrickfarrell3961 Please understand that unless it’s their own Chinese’s branded/labels engine, mower manufacturers do not warrant engines. The mower manufacturer buys engines from corporate engine companies while dealers deal with regional distributors who represent the engine company. Your dealer has the relationship with the engine distributor while the mower manufacturer does not. Engine distributors offer the dealer parts, warranty and service help. It’s not as easy as someone from Spartan giving you a number to an engine distributor as there are many and if we did, you couldn’t reach someone unless you had a dealer number. We do not have contacts with all the engine distributors who warranty the engines. While we are a company who answers the phone, we are not staffed to take hundred of questions a day. That’s why we sell direct and service dealers who represents and service our product in their selling area. Our commitment is to not sell in a “box” store who doesn’t service what they sell - we always want our customers taken care of. All this said, COVID has really hurt all industries. Many manufacturers are struggling but we are building mowers daily. All spartan parts are available but we can’t control what engine companies have or done have. Give me your email along with the last 5 of your mowers serial number and I’ll what I can’t tomorrow but again, no mower brand can control the engine companies.
I have one. An RZ model.....Trying to get up with Spartan is non-existent. I recommend you go with a company you can get up with. Dealers are useless also. They have hidden their phone number or done away with it all together. Multiple bolts have vibrated out and been lost. Sometimes the start panel does not work. No one ever got back up with me for warranty work. Dealer went out of business. New dealer useless. Hey Spartan!! Post a damn phone number!! Costomer service is non-existent.
The keypad allows the owner to customize the start code for additional security. It’s more secure than a universal key. It also gives engine hours, mowing hours, rpm’s, battery voltage and oil change countdown. The PTO switch has a lifetime warranty
This thing looks awesome.. But honestly is out done my the 56" Ryobi zero turn that cuts 3 acers or the Ego zero turn. Just saying. The ego is equivalent to a 22hp gas zero turn and goes 8 mph charges in 2 hrs. Just food for thought

Great! Who is your dealer and what model?

Hope so, I'm in the market for one now!

Such a good looking MACHINE...with mostly very good Components, And they can fix the simple SHIT... Fire those engineers get new ones
Can you put the larger 22” tires on the RZ-C models?

What's the price on the rz-c.
Promo price starts off at $3,849. Please reach out to a Spartan dealer for an exact quote.
Thanks!

Does RZ C have 2-21” blades or what?
Correct
Ok thanks, are they regular blades you can purchase anywhere or are they special and have to be purchased at a Spartan dealer?
Josh Mason Spartan’s blades have an extra bend in them to protect the bolt head but 21” is a common blade size available anywhere
Ok thank you
JUST WHAT EVERYONE WANTS $300 TIRES LOL
No arm rests? No thanks.
You lost me, all that hype and No Arm Rest? Smh....
Do you need my address to ship me one of those RZ -HD s 😀
