I've had good luck using wheel and tire cleaner to get the brake dust and crud off of the wheel and calipers/drums. If you're dry sanding it, you're kicking up a lot of asbestos into the air (from the brake pads) that you will end up breathing part of. Keeping it wet and using the wheel and tire cleaner, it keeps the brake dust and crud (asbestos) wet and it doesn't get airborne. It also does a great job of cleaning the part you want to paint. I painted my wheels red and my calipers (front) and brake drums (rear) yellow. My son said it looks "dope". I'm not sure whether that's a compliment or not. lol. On a black car it does look very good.
Went through all that trouble cleaning them off you might as well place some fresh paper down so it doesn't just blow right back on the drum lol. Also, they make wire brush attachments you can use with a normal hand drill. Life savers on projects like this. I use a $20 sand blaster but any joe smo can use a drill, so thought I'd suggest that. Otherwise great video.
@PANRamalho tell that to Brembo! LOL🤣😂 They're one of the best performance brake manufacturers and RED calipers are a STAPLE in performance brakes 🤣😂. Let this man paint his Honda odyssey's brakes red!🤣😂

hey! Another great tool to use would be a wire brush or sanding wheel on a drill!
Metal primer would have brought in much more good results and protection for the drum.
That Chrisfix intro though 😂

What sand blaster did you use?
Good, short and to the point video. Good job!
What kind of sandpaper u Used?
Ideally it should be 150 grit
Your brake lining are finished but thanks
How Did u removed drum directly ..? 🤔. There should be some screws right..?
No, you just release the hand brake and brakes, and pull it out with your hands. Maybe tap it lightly with a hammer if it's stuck from rust.
Nice
where can i get these type of alloys?
since you are using low quality spray paint how long is the paint going to last?
it will last around 5 to 6 months for sure because its only 2$ spray paint bottle which covered both drums 3 coats each
5 to 6 months?? You'd be better doing the job properly (etch primer and then top coat) and it would last 5 or 6 YEARS. NIce video, thank you.
How many grit?
U should have base painted it white
Looks sporty.
Cost?
Is that honda jazz?
its Honda city
lol I thought same thing. my Honda fit/jazz has the same stock rims on Sport trim
Brand name of paint and lacquer
Red Paint brand = MUBAH . Lacquer = Deer
both 150 Each PKR . you can find Lacquer of MUBAH brand as well
Simply messed up the whole things.. Why so hurry. Where is the metal primer why no masking tape..
I only have one question,why?
What is the reason for painting the brakes red? It's out of style. If it is because of the rust be original and paint of another color.
It's just personal preference. It's not your car, so dont worry about it.
@@navajohercules7583 well said.

Out of style? It's by far the most iconic brake colour 😂
You did,nt showed how to paint calipher
