Thank you for this video. I have been sharing it with families after my initial conversation about GLP.

We are going through this now. Went through testing for autism , which I knew it wasn’t autism. Speech therapist said he was speech delayed. Gestalt has described my son 100%. Now to begin the work to help him. It’s sad there isn’t any speech therapist in the area that is knowledgeable on gestalt.

Recently learning about gestalt processing language. My son is clearly a gestalt learner, he uses echolalia. Loves music, autistic, third person, confuses he/she/me/I etc, often runs a sentence he has memorized together where he isn’t speaking clearly, uses phrases in appropriate situations sometimes, loves learning situations from youtube videos, such as throwing a tantrum. My question is, why haven’t any of his SLPs never mentioned this? He also teaches himself foreign languages. It’s been an obsession since he was about 3/4. Can parents take the course? Where should I begin to educate his school about this?

Hi there! I'd recommend asking his SLP about it and see what they say. You can also reach out to Alexandria (meaningfulspeech.com) if you have some specific questions about gestalt language! ❤️

If child is able to recite whole story by seeing movie or you tube with interest, will that helps to develop his language naturally,?
