You can eek out a win with one brain-damaged support or DPS, but if your tank is brain-damaged, it's game over.
True, but there's 2 chances each for a braindead dps or support and only 1 for a tank, so it's not as big a worry.

I really do appreciate Warn helping me grasp that having a conversation for constructive criticism for someone having a fit can be done. This is what i hate about comp, you have to deal with the most childish least reasonable people ever who only ever talk to complain and take out their pent up anger. I've tried many times to be civil and have a mature conversation with people like that but they legit simply do not want to hear it, just like this guy who just focused on one negative thing you did and can't move on and gives up completely after that. The fact that he left and ran away from the conversation just shows that deep down he knows nothing he says is gonna make him win that argument, he even resorted to saying "nobody likes you" which shows that he ran out of things to say to defend his case. This behaviour really shows how mentally weak they are coz they just break down in despair and anger over a video game... Like oh my god grow up please

Had a game like the first myself, the guy even messaged me after the game and told me I made my duo useless. He was on soldier not taking highground and wanted the pocket, next round me and Mercy are again alone on high, the enemy team all push up and they win 🤷🏻♀️

For every 1 tank death a dps can have 2 deaths and still maintain value. I'm not saying you should be dying at all on dos, but if a tank is MATCHING deaths with you then the tank is likely the problem.
If you have less tank deaths than your dps it means you are actively paying attention to where your team is, the killfeed, and efficiently tracking ultimates to position better. Otherwise you are wasting resources by playing poorly while down resources. That last sentence is what got me from d1 to m1 in 2 days.

We've all been in those situations where our preferred hero isn't working. That's Overwatch. But you made the swap and found something with more value for that match and this dude chooses to AFK in spawn like a baby?! I hate that kind of mentality. Legit hate it. I personally never give up. Even when my teammates are throwing. I've won many a game by simply swapping up and buckling down even when the odds were stacked highly in the other team's favor. And even if I did lose at least I can look back and say I gave it my all. Maybe that's just me though 🤷♂️

If you keep dying, wether your tank is bad or not, you can play a character who has better survivability. Lifeweaver (if this is after the update where he has shield). Also kirko never dies. Bap never dies.

The tank was kinda right, he did have horrible positioning, but the mercy pocket on Cass was a waste, and the tank still had more damage and kills than Warn, without a mercy pocket
No he wasn't. Crying in voice chat is never right. He had more dmg because rest of the team couldn't do anything without any space. Plus Orisa ult doing a lot of dmg (useless dmg cuz those were afwul ults). Cass is the only target for Mercy boost here.

Ngl first guy has a point. You can always get walled off and he had as much dmg + elims as a tank versus a dps with a mercy pocket. Warn also said tank was on "perma respawn simulator" but had more deaths than him at that moment. These people are frustrating but sometimes they do have a point, even as annoyingly as they communicate it. Second guy is unbearable
If he is dying first, that's all that matters. the rest of the team topples after you lose your tank. If he's getting walled off, no matter what support we play he is out of LOS. our deaths follow his lead
@@WarnYT I get that but tough spot for the Orisa too. I’m not GM or anything like you but the wall is always a possibility unless he’s playing super far back or the Ana has an off angle. There’s probably a better position that I can’t think of but that stretch of Eich seems pretty vulnerable
first guy did not have a point? dude was always out of position. if he dies, the rest of the team dies. especially if he’s not LOSing the ana. mercy had nothing to do with them losing at ALL, and he still made it a point to go after her. when all she’s doing is enabling warn who’s ACTUALLY doing something…like you’re kidding right. he had no useful input the entire match, communicating is NOT helpful if you’re toxic and have no understanding of the game.
Even if they had a Life Weaver to petal and grip him out, he still would have died to his poor positioning. Bottom line: You can't heal stupid.

If you think about first point Eich it's difficult to find a spot that isn't vulnerable to mei wall in that position. He's right, it would've been nice if someone could break it. He didn't communicate it properly. OW needs more empathy not black and white insults
As a mercy main when pocketing a dps I obviously won't be getting as high healing stats as our bap or kirko but the value of the pocket is not in the amount of healing. Like people will see that I have less healing than our second support and be like "MaYBe yOu ShOulD SwiTcH fRom mErcy", but they forget to look at how my dps pocket has way more damage and kills and how I have a lot of assists. And don't get me started on the tank players that are way too aggro and die and then say "BrO What iS mY sUpPort dOinG" like a good tank player will realize when to back out and how to have correct positioning and how to cycle your abilities properly so you aren't stuck out in the open with zero cooldowns. There is a reason support is called support and not healer. Mercy has one of the strongest abilities in her damage boost and resurrect which can turn the tide of a fight but if I die first because our rein charges in alone and I have to fly in, using my GA cooldown, then am stuck next to you in the frontline and die just to save your goofy ah butt then I would be a bad mercy player. I used to always try and save/rez my bad teammates making poor mistakes but now I realize that my life is more important because of my resurrect and the possibility of pocketing important ults that can easily make up for being 1 man down. My point being in this long rant is that some people think mercy is a very low skill agent, which compared to other you can say that, but once you play her you realize just how fragile/targeted you are and realize that supports players aren't as braindead as you think.

To be real the orisa is right. You had a mercy pocket and had less kills, damage and more deaths than the other dps. And orisa out stat you. You were def the problem here. This was a hard dps diff and the fact that you think you're right is probably why you lose games and feel the need to bicker on coms.
