i’ve watched hundreds of tarot readings, but this is the first one that made me cry. pile one is so unbelievably accurate, and a message straight from my mama.
you channeled her so well, from her practical marriage to my grandfather, to her losing her sister when they were both about twenty. in regards to her “using her body” to survive, she had been enslaved at a young age because her parents were too poor to afford otherwise. she married my grandfather because he was on track to move to america, and as a consequence, left her lover behind.
when each of my sisters and i were born, we were each gifted gold necklaces from her. my pendant is the only one that’s a heart.
my mama taught me what unconditional love was, though she passed when i was young. i grew up internalizing the fear- tainted perspective of life and love from my parents.
