Ren actually made a post about it. Insta or Twitter. He said something like "note to self, be more careful about lyrics. My bad, Trump. Next time I'll write about tropical islands and Swedish bikini models and my stomach fixing itself so I can eat endless lasagna." 😂 May not have been those exact words, but the gist is 100% that he acknowledged the bizarre coincidence of the track dropping days before reality imitated art to a spooky degree.

At last!! Been waiting for at least one of the Avengers to get on this absolute fire track. So gutted it got overshadowed by Eminem's album release. Prof's beat on this is dope AF and they harmonise so well together (on the live drop Prof himself got actual goosebumps listening to again even though he'd likely heard it hundreds of times. I definitely would love more between them - have already decided for them the album could be called IbuProfRen: The Cure for All Ills - with the versatility of both of them we'll have such a diverse album popping off in all sorts of directions - emo, funny, rapping, singing - it will be a desert island disc for sure
Re taking a pop at the President - Ren is either a Prophet or a great Manifestor (or both) - there's been a few times he's written something and then it drops just as it happens (eg Animal Flow - the crowning of the King)

I wasn't sure what to expect from them together because they have such different voices, but it's so good! Really hope they do more together. I like it more each time I listen!
The sick boi stuff is such a shame. I hate that he has that tarnishing the secret garden party show prep. After everything he's been through he finally left the intensive treatment and got home then pretty much straight into more isht. I know life goes that way sometimes but if anyone deserves to just have something go right for once then it's Ren.

This song has been finished for awhile now Prof just had to push it back. There is no telling how long some of these songs are ready to go before they are released
There's a video of Prof doing a Live back on 29th March (on the RenNotRen channel) where he says he just received Ren's verse and he's telling Ren off for killing him on his own song when it was meant to be an Emo track. The one prior to that in February Prof is saying he sent the track to Ren and Ren had had it for a very long time (In the subsequent video I guess he realised why it had taken so long!). Think it was in the Summer of last year that Ren mentioned he was cooking something with Prof

I like the way they vibe together. I don’t know prop music, but we know that Ren has been speaking about how Pain is what’s selling! I mean, if you look, Ren has been making amazing music for like eight years and he just now blew up with Hren where he comes out in a psych ward being pushed by a person in a pig mask! Absolutely underrated. I can’t think of one musician that is actually better maybe a couple just as good.. but unfortunately, today, Pain what sells and he almost nailed it on the head to the day with the assassination attempt!

Hey Cliff it's cool to see you reach out to people who are hurting and just or any kind of situation going through it's really cool I'm diagnosed schizo affective disorder manic depression and then I'm just overall an addict I have to really work and not being an addict
I'm also a musician so it plays into the fact that drugs have a lot to do with music to me and guitar and writing words and stuff
I have a RUclips channel and half of its me out of my mind of drugs and other happened to be with me trying hard to just smoke some weed and play guitar
It might not be the right channel for everybody if you're triggered easily
to me it's a great reminder sometimes I look back at the other videos and say oh geez I can see the drugs on me you know what I'm saying I'm wearing it anyways
I just want to say man I think that's really cool I don't know much about you man
To see you reach out to people who are struggling because it's not just drugs I mean I think that I was self-medicating
this is what my doctor told me
I most likely would self-medicate all the time because I was going through many times in my life where I didn't understand why i was so f****** crazy
The only relief I could find was in the embrace would be in the alteration of my personality in he anonymity of being high
having the rage infused mind I had you know I didn't understand
Now look back and see I was acting like a victim.
So I still have my struggles to stay on the good right path
I get so hateful of myself if I fall in trip or whatever you know and then music like Rens , we're all so happy that you know she's real and he'll actually speak and talk openly truthfully about drugs and mental health

That is all facts. Prof is no idiot. If he’s listening to more than five Ren songs, he knew he was gonna be outshined . But that wasn’t the point. Prof. knew this was gonna be bad ass. Yes exposure is an unbeatable benefit, but I’d Prod just likes fire tracks, he knew he would hit gold with this, and the exposure just an added benefit. I loved the freaking song! Great job Prof! Both of them could have gone a lot harder than this. It's about making a good song. One of them had to go first and set the vibe and tone, while giving the song room to build. Plus it's just smart, I'd imagine more of Prof's fans like rap, and a lot of Rens fans don't typically listen to rap, so they played to each others base.

I honestly don't think this track influenced the dude at all, it's already been reported that he was seeking mental health treatment prior to the incident and wasn't able to find any. But yeah, this track dropped on the 12th, a Friday, and the other incident happened the next day, on the 13th.

Watching you for a year, mostly Ren, but have watched many of your other vids.💚💗💕 Love your angle as a songwriter and your heart. Many Renegades in Rabbit Hole were very confused with the lack of reactions from the "Avengers". Totally understood with the Em album, but when vids from other artists kept dropping and radio silence for 8 days was very perplexing. I have a decent understanding of how clearing copyright, content ID issues etc work on this platform. Even Stevie Knight reacted to it, let alone all the other small to mid size reaction channels up to 100k subs. I'm not making any conclusions as I have no idea what is or was going on. What I don't love is the lack of transparency as to why It was brought to your attention on live days ago. Still love you tho. Have a great Vaca with your girl. She's lovely. 💜💙💚

Yeah, I heard this the day it dropped and ran to look for reactions. Almost nobody even reacted. I thought it was strange because this is actually one of my favorite songs from either artist. Granted, I’m no huge fan of either, but I do like what they bring to the table creatively so this was a big surprise when I heard it.
