Summer, I am very impressed at how much you have improved with your aim, grip, and stance. Watching you evolve has been really cool. I’ve always felt that ports, when machined well, out perform most comps. Both are extremely flat though.
Great video Summer. I think you need to compare similar guns. In my experience, the Canik pistols are a little softer shooting. I don't know if it's lower bore axis or what. It looks like from the side that the Glock is moving less, but you might be feeling is the recoil response being better with the Canik over the Glock. All in all, I'm taking the Glock.
I agree. Glock 19 is a compact pistol while the Canik is a true full size. Putting a comp on a 19 doesn't make it a full size pistol. A fair comparison would be a G45 with Radian Comp and barrel. Both your firearms are nice and have good set ups though. Nice video.
The Canik just shoots better than the Glock. Grab you a Sonic Cleaner. It changed my whole pistol cleaning experience. Especially when cleaning comps ports and suppressors.
@XX-166 all of that depends on what you're cleaning, how much you want to break it down, and which cleaner you buy. I have a small cleaner. If I'm cleaning pistols, I'll just sonic clean the barrel and recoil spring. For a thorough cleaning you CAN break down the firing pin assembly and the trigger assembly then throw in everything except for the polymer grip and other plastic parts. For rifles, I'll break down the entire BCG and trigger and throw those parts into the cleaner. Some cleaners say to just use water, but I use a cup of Mean Green in mine. I love that the Obsidian 9 breaks down each baffle so you can break it all the way down then put ALL of the parts in it.
@ thanks, I’ll get a larger sonic cleaner and just drop everything in there and it’ll be a cleaner quicker job all the way around with less mess. That will make it not such a chore to do regularly.
@ what sized cleaner do you use and who’s the maker and what fluid do you use to clean your parts that gets the job done? I wanna shorten the cleaning time and throw a few parts in there to get it all done faster.
Its crazy you have went from 2+ secs finding your dot for one round to 2 rounds in sub 2 secs almost sub 1 sec... congrats on your journey... your channel is one of my favorites...also who done your milling on your slides for your dots?? Thanks in advance and keep grinding
I dont know man the comp looks like it shoots flatter to me. Something like this is hard to decide just watching tho. Wouldn’t know for sure until u actually shoot both. But to me the comp LOOKS flatter.

Nice video I'm with the ports
Banger🔥🔥 I need them ports!!
Another great video. Port for the win
Good job Summer 👍🏿 You know I can't tell the difference. I'm here to learn🤓
what light do you have on the canik sfx rival?
@@jarrettfoster9400 Olight
I like ports. You shoot quite well regardless.
I think I’m rocking with comps……. I’m just scared something might fall on not those holes and cause some sort of malfunction…. Another great video
@@Citizen2ACitizenLLC valid point
Tampa gunwerx does amazing porting work.
That’s a PMM comp on that Glock?
@@ChrisTV1 yep
Port got my vote port is smoother and lighter than comp.👍
Im a big fan of both. If it's getting concealed, i prefer ports. If there isn't a concern for me about the size, i prefer the leverage of a comp.

You should try both without comp'd or ported. What I discovered is that the Canik shoots better than the Glock. IKR I was shocked!

Idk the Canik vs Glock barrel size is little off for the battle. But but I like both.
Comps seem not to have sooo much debris flying out every shot like ports does

What parts do you drop in the sonic cleaner, what fluid does it use and typically how long does it take to remove the sediment from the parts?
