is it a way to turn off completely the outise screen ??? in battery settings youll find a wsy to pause the apps you want.. so you are not tempted to navegate.. and it will alow you to open one for five minutes... its working charm... olso the key bord from microsoft has a mike so yoy can spesk to it while it writes it as a writting messsge... so you dont need sny tipynt at all... great viedo from argentina.. patagonia... chau

I have covered it off in little parts in videos so hopefully, short term, they can whet your appetite, but, sure I can make a longer form video of Spotify and where it saves/downloads podcasts/songs etc.
Hi, I wanna know if the navigation keys (up down left right arrows) are really functional in all cases or not 😄 I am wondering about this since in every video I've watched about this device, everyone uses the touchscreen as their way to navigate through the phone. Can you talk more about this? Is it possible to not use the touchscreen at all and only use the arrow keys, for example?

Heya, I am making a video for this but not really is the answer. There is a work around where you record the screen and microphone but it isn't that good, doesn't pick up all the audio. Will have to look in to Truecaller.
I have been watching your videos for this phone since you started and have a problem that you or your subscribers might be able to help me with. My CAT S22 worked fine for months except that now it will not charge, at all. Replaced the battery and no joy. Any ideas that can help other than toss it?

I'd like to get this but I'm concerned about security. I'm not sure if I'd trust a fork off of android loaded onto a phone manufactured by a heavy machinery company with my 2FA info.
The battery is NOT FINE, I really don't understand how you did this. My CAT S22 is currently sitting next to me doing NOTHING and has gone from 50% to 20%. It takes FOREVER to charge. I am missing text and calls because the damm thing with die on me while I am not paying attention to it which was the whole point. I've seen alot of people online saying you need to remove the bloatware in order to get this type of performance out of the phone, and if that's what was done to the phone before the video it was not clear. This sounds like the phone came right out of the box like this and that is a straight up lie.
👋 Just to clarify, I didn’t remove any of the bloatware, if I had done I would have stated in the video. It did come out of the box with this performance and still does give me the same level of performance all these months later. I’d potentially suggest that you’ve got a defective battery? Have you tried getting a replacement on eBay etc to see if that helps?
I find tune in radio drains it fast it goes from 100 percent to 0 percent in 4 hours through bluetooth. If I can make it through the day without streaming the radio it easily lasts all day. The best games for this phone are java games with a java emulator from the play store. Java games are made for flip phones and use the buttons stuff like tetris, snake, block breaker, even pokemon crystal using a java game boy emulator meboy

It can run both, the screen is smaller and therefore, a little clunkier than a smart-phone, but it is able to download and open and use both Snap and Insta.
I am still on the fence with this device. I had it ordered but there was a massive delay so I cancelled...I am smartphone free for 8 month I am just worried about re-introducing a smartphone into my life , but as you have said this device type just way it looks makes it less interesting to use, plus I thought I could disable email, chrome browser and only use them in a absolute emergency. Decisions decisions! I just think its becoming increasingly difficult to live life with a a straight up dumb phone. I am using the light phone 2 and it has done the job but I constantly worry if I am with my kids and my car stops , or I need a uber, a tow whatever, I won't have access to any of these apps! So there is that fear balanced/wrestling with the fact that I sort of like having just a dumbphone its like a badge of honor lol. Honestly don't know what to do, I have the cat 22 in my ebay cart just have hit buy yet lol
It's a hard one to decide and I'd say this is a pretty good 'in-between' device for all those emergency situations and you will be able, with a bit of technical knowledge, be able to disable email, chrome etc. What you thinking at the moment?
As in, did I close the app Waze 'or' did I turn off location in the Android settings? To answer both: 1. Waze app was closed (I.E. swiped away) for the entire time it sat dormant. 2. I DIDN'T turn off GPS from the Android settings while it was dormant. That stayed on.
I have had mine essentially on standby for several days. No screen viewing, just a phone. Very impressive.

Works on 3 for me in the UK, and I got an 'unlocked' one from Amazon. It comes with T-Mobile load up screen but works a treat.

For just text and calls I would guess longer than 4/5 days, depending on usage. Assuming pretty light?
