Ten is Thai and can speak English fluently so all of his solo songs are in English. Ten and Bada are friends and have done some short dance routines on Instagram. Ten's vision and request to her for this choreography was to make it like an artwork and not have a simple signature move because so many K-pop groups' choreographies have that. He wanted fans to notice and appreciate the little details.

I have been following his dance for a while. One thing I love is how he relates with his choreoghaphers..This choreography was created for him and him alone, they said its only him that can pull this off. His recent song choreography on nightwalker he combined 2 choreographies and still upgraded the choreo to make it his own. The choreoghaphers were discussing sayings they rather create a dance when he is around so that he can modify it to fit his preferences... also he is notorious for mixing different dance styles from bboy,ballet,contemporary, lyrical hiphop and popping while commiting to the characters he is portraying.
He has grown so much that the choreography has to be made strictly for him now. Even in his group wayv he has so much control over what goes for the group and adding his input to make it stand out. In the whole nct wayv has the most diversity in dance choreos.
He recently said he is working on discovering his own dance style and I cant wait to see this development.

But for the mean time while we wait for that and also for your subscribers to hopefully increase faster, I would suggest to check out two new groups - WayV (Ten's group) and XG. They have really great choreos. XG's Tippy Toes mv and dance practice and WayV's Miracle track video and dance practice. Both tracks are also very playlist worthy and their choreo are just so satisfying🤌
i'm obsessed with the way he moves his body lol I've watched him for a while and he has a VERY strong idea on who he is as a dancer. You can see his style in every choreo he does. Also of course i loved your analysis

9:57 She's bada lee, it's her & jrick's choreography. Obviously, Ten has a hand in it too, but they're the one who made the choreo. Ten's movements are more fluid & smooth though, that's Just how his body works 😂. anyway, You said it correctly; he doesn't look awkward doing sensual or sexy moves. His moves really show what he's trying to convey through his dancing and music. And that's so mesmerising.

The way you're a bit uncomfortable with "suggestive" stuff is actually understandable but funny. I mean sexuality is part of human nature after all. But I have to say, the way TEN approached it through this dance is beautiful. I mean some people just make sexy look cheap and vulgar while very few ones can actually make it look refined and sophisticated. TEN is definitely the latter.
Ten executed this concept and choreo so flawlessly tasteful. His supple yet strong body look so natural in all sorts of movements. The way he makes dancing look as natural as breathing plus his expressiveness and charisma - such a perfect dancer and performer.🤌❤️
I know right! He took such an artistic approach which made so captivating!!! I was mostly shocked at how suggestive the lyricism was since within Kpop it's not that aggressive on the English lyric side as much, but his movement quality was top tier here!
@@jess_holyfield I don't know if you know this but TEN is known for eating up every concept so if you're impressed with him in this sensual video, you should see him do other stuff as well like his Manga-esque mv NIGHTWALKER or his playful PAINT ME NAKED or his other mvs with his groups. His Performance Film 10 is also a must-see.
I hope you also check out his subunit's (WayV) stuff. They have really great songs and performances. Not sure what's your preference in choreos and dance but WayV's choreos are steezy and "balanced". They use both the strong and sharp and the delicate and fluid movements in their choreos really well. I would recommend ACTION FIGURE performance video and TURN BACK TIME and MIRACLE dance practices.

So I think I have actually done a full routine cover of that exact routine for a kpop cover contest a couple of years ago! I'll bring it back out if I get to 10,0000 subs as a marathon!
There's also a "Birthday" version in Vogue as well. Bada danced with him in that version.
