Getting the ducks to fly back and forth before feeding

We got another deep snow which make the pond freeze fast so while the birds are stuck in a little ice hole I get them to fly back and forth for exercise and enrichment

I love watching ducks fly....very cool. I have ducks, but I think they are way too heavy to fly.

Surprising that most of them are call ducks. They’re looking like wild mallards and seem like they’re doing well in the wild

There’s only about 20 calls the majority are mallards, the calls just stand out because they are so loud
