    The pictures are fascinating. I keep wondering if somewhere in a picture was one of my direct ancestors, perhaps a grandfather, my mother as a child, or ???. I keep hoping to find my heritage and find my family! May Hashem bless my upcoming trip to Morocco and Israel in search of my roots. Thank you for the pictures and exposure to my mom's cultural and religious origins.

    To Archos one : The cantilation for reading Torah are highly accurate and preserved since a long time. You should keep in mind that Jews lived in Morocco and Tunisia as well Algeria since at least 2000 or 2500 years. They kept their cantilation and tunes alive through all this period. There was also a symbiosis for many airs of Jewish prayers with arabo-andalusian music such as in Adon Hselihot sung in Yom Kippur. Hegira occurred in 622 after JC. The complete conquest by the arabs of Morocco was achieved in 709 After JC.

      We don't believe in "JC." Out of respect, please use BCE & CE when saying dates under Jewish prayer videos. While we have our own Calendars, most Jewish diaspora live in countries that use the Roman Calendar - however, I've never heard anyone distort "B.C." & "A.D." to "JC" for "Jesus Christ." Thus, you're clearly here to proselytize, and we're not down with that.

    Thanks you!!! THank you very much! You are helping two times so far with the pronunciation! Its so clear and understandable! Thanks for helping us who are trying to learn, in this so difficult kosher journey, its so hard, but so great neshamot like you give a push without asking anything in return. Shalom ubrachot, from the most far away place.

    Por fin un acento hebreo decente. El de los judíos norteamericanos es ridículo.

    • @Living_Dead_Girrl
      @Living_Dead_Girrl 2 года назад

      Right... Insult the Jewish-Americans as a whole, whitewashing that America has the highest Jewish population in the world now, and has Ladino, Sephardi, Mizrahi, Bukhari, Perisan, Yemenite, etc Jews. The Hasidic zealots are only 1% of the global Jewish population, yet you assume the rest of American Jewish diaspora speak like their little cult does. In America, no one can tell whose Jewish and who isn't just by looking at them. This is the melting pot of the world. And now you make Ladino Jews who largely don't fit in with the Latin American community for being Jewish, having to hide their Judaism - making them invisible to the world. You don't have a clue how my Rabbi & Cantor pronounce, chant, or sing Hebrew. Live one day in my life, out here fighting for the right for Jews to exist in America and everywhere else on Earth - because no one believes Jews exist outside of America & Israel anymore. We are here to REMIND THEM.
