@@Stroutta-oh7mjhow is she not on Rihannas level? Billboard announced yesterday that Beyonce is the best selling black female artitst of all time (350 Mio. Records worldwide) Beyonce is on her own level ;-)
Rihanna has cultivated a very relatable public image. But with Fenty she was solving a market problem. At the time there were maybe 1 or 2 brands that had decent shade ranges. Fenty came in and made foundation for everyone that was relatively affordable and all the other brands had to scramble to fall in line. Everything she sells now is icing on the cake but people don't feel like they have to buy it because it's Rihanna. Maybe they'll try the new things but they know they can rely on that old Fenty standby of foundation etc. A lot of Beyonce's releases have been buy it now or it's gone, so that pressure is finally getting to people.
And Bey’s products-whiskey, perfume, athleisure, and hair care-have no relation to each other. Rih’s products make sense and we see her using these products are believable.
@@bharris4517the girl was getting her wig washed lmao not even her hair until she got called out for Fenty Hair. 😂 she never wears her real hair so how would we know she wears natural hair and uses the products.
@@bharris4517 really? Except for the parts where she tells you how they relate to her and her life but because you dislike her and don’t engage with her artistry you can’t connect the dots or rather you want to be spoon fed everything 🤡😭😂
I don’t want her on our level, but I buy products based on brand trust. It’s hard to trust a product if the brand doesn’t align with how I can use it. So I like to see how people use products and what it can do, if I’m going to buy it. The lack of personal touch on products can cause a disconnect at times
I think Rihanna just comes across as more personable than Beyoncé, a little more 'real', whereas Beyoncé seems really stuck on perfection, committed to never being caught in a human moment that she isn't fully in control of. She comes across as super closed off, which is her right🤷🏾♀️. But people don't know her and I think that's what makes her so easy to criticize. Also you could criticize Riri all day but she genuinely DGAF. She's like Teflon, nothing ever sticks so people don't try it. I dunno.
Virgo shit😂 I suffer the same way. I don't show my true self to people I don't know. Lol my friends see the real. I dont feel the need to showcase my personality to those who I don't like lol Idk.. maybe it's about trust. We see people flip themselves upside-down to attack beyonce bc they can't really pinpoint anything to attack.
Beyonce has been very careful with her image …she’s moving how artists used to move on the 90s I miss that because I know too much about certain celebs
I do like that she not all in your face. But, if she has products I feel she should be more vocal and actually go and promote it. Even the Vice President went on the Breakfast club to campaign.
I also wonder if it's because Rihanna started doing her own businesses during a time where we weren't in a penny-pinching chokehold that we're in now. The economy has always been a mess but when Rihanna started, we were in a much more comfortable place. For Beyoncé, it's like girl I love you but you picked the WORST TIMING EVER to start pushing products
It’s definitely some of this and also Rihanna has been doing this for years. She was selling inclusivity. Both of her biggest brands were built on that.
Did we forget House of Dereon? This was at the beginning of Rih’s career or probably even before and it didn’t sell. This was way before Beyonce started cosplaying as a revolutionary, pro black figure. Simply put Rihanna somehow got the people to relate, commit and feel invested in who she was or seemed to be (her authenticity) period point blank. That’s just my opinion anyway ❤
Products on top of expensive tickets. I guess without Rihanna having new music and not going on tour, too…that creates balance. She hitting one pocket while B is hitting all of them at the exact same time.
It also has to do with that fact that Rihanna is the best selling artist of this century, and fans of Beyonce has placed her on this imaginary pedestal. Beyonce is just not that girl yall swear she is.
@@ImaniBelle-tu5nuThat also show how they really don't care. They are just obssessed with her and swear she isn't God while holding her to God standards 😂😂😂😂
It goes beyond critique at some point. She released Cécred, and people said she never shows us her hair; when she does, the critique is that she's bragging, it's genetics and not the award-winning, science-backed haircare line-or they say she has a half wig on. She doesn’t speak on politics, she's seen as irresponsible with her platform. If she does, she needs to stay in an entertainer’s place. When she doesn’t promote the products, they call her greedy; when she does, they say she’s preying on fans. If she speaks, they call her dumb; if she doesn’t, they say she’s a robot with no personality. What do y’all want Beyoncé to do?
Either she has to be the perfect modern day capitalist in the vain of rihanna. Or Just be a performer. She will continue to be whacked until she acts upon what anti capitalist say. Also denounce Isreal
Bc she is not RELATABLE like the others like Rihanna, plus her personality is bland to the people and it’s okay 🤷🏽♀️entertaining and singing on stage is her thing other than that it’s a FLOP honestly
Because she gave us constant music for a decade... She gained the trust of her fans by putting work in her collabs... This is why her brands are billion dollar brands. She earned the trust FIRST and then went big. Fenty beauty literally made other BIGGER Makeup brands step it up. She changed the Makeup landscape.
@@kammyr4082girl please…before Rihanna got big Beyonce had already put out two solo albums, 5 Destiny Child albums, had multiple brands and sponsorships, movies, Grammys, iconic award performances, etc…let’s not talking about working consistently for a decade and try to downplay Beyonce…y’all must be 20 somethings who didn’t experience Beyonce on the come up but don’t get it confused she’s done way more than Rihanna has ever done.
Rihanna is Bajan and I believe that accounts for her lack of politicism in regards to US issues. That's just my take on it. She was educated in schools in Barbados and while the Caribbean also has a long history of slavery, most people in Barbados and other Caribbean nations are Black (or East Indian and other Asian descent in some countries). There is a big difference in how black people think and act when they are raised in a country where most people look like them vs in America where only 13% of the nation is black. As a black American woman, of course Beyonce has deep ties and connections to Black American issues and hell yes she should continue to be political if she so chooses, IDC. All these people are raging capitalists and imma talk my sh*t about that but I'm not going to tell her not to pay homage to the Black Panthers just cuz she's a raging capitalist. Rihanna is light skinned and that comes with privilege of course because what IS a big issue in many Caribbean nations is colorism, moreso than racism. Spice (Jamaican artist) talks about colorism and such in her music but when you're the privileged class where you're from, maybe you don't feel the need to go on about politicized messaging 🤷🏿♀️ This is just my opinion on the matter tho
Thank you for pointing out Beyonce's Black American culture. Many of the same ppl critiquing her for dressing like a Black Panther, but not being about that life, are also the one's dressing like a Black Panther during Black History Month, and Juneteenth. Beyonce has every right to rep part of her culture.
I think the parasocial relationship is the difference. We can dress up the words we use but we don’t know either of these billionaires. We talk about authenticity but that’s just our perception, we have never engaged with them on a personal enough level to understand their true passions or intentions. Rihanna comes off like your homegirl from around the way and that often shields her from criticism because people feel like she just like them and can make mistakes. I think Beyoncé in contrast has less room for error because people hold her to higher standard (whether that’s her fault or not I’m unsure). That’s just always been my perception of the difference.
Thank you. People saying one is relatable and one isn't when in reality, neither are relatable to us. We are not on these people's levels or in their stratosphere. Period.
THANK YOU! They sound crazy using Rihanna's perceived relatability as a shield. She is a billionaire with more corrupt practices than SHEIN, her smoking weed and dancing to Glorilla shouldn't change that. At least not for people that are actually principled.
People dont have enough of a parasocial relationship with Beyoncé. Thats the beginning middle and end of the issue. She dont let yall too far into her business and the masses do not like that. Beyonce is a old school celeb. "here's the music, heres some products. Leave me alone" and ya know what? Thats all she owes, songs and products that are up to the best standard she can provide. I miss when celebs were more mysterious....
I mean her business is out there regardless because she a public figure, but I get what you mean she doesn’t address anything and doesn’t do interviews so people mad that have to do the digging.
@ so because people are nosy she should have to tell her business further…you see how that doesn’t make sense? And once again if you DENSE people engaged with her work she says CONSTANTLY she wants to be an ARTIST known for her work not her PRIVATE LIFE. But I get it, the shade room demographic wants what they want and unfortunately for them when it comes to Beyoncé they’re never gonna get it🤪😭🤪🤪
The same Beyoncé that has done documentaries, did a whole mtv special documenting her life, documented album process, tour processes, countless specials, dozens more radio show and interviews then Rihanna. Rihanna hasn’t given us as much of an inside look to her life as Beyoncé has throughout her career. If you think about it we don’t know much about her personal life. Beyoncé problem with the public, to put it simple is her fans. Her fans put her on such high pedestal that those who are just causal listeners or people who don’t listen to at all feel weirded out by. I remember a time in twitter where you couldn’t even say anything negative about Beyoncé without the beehive coming for you, now ppl are over it and unfortunately only see her as overrated. Rihanna’s fan base had a more cool appearance. They didn’t do too much plus she wasn’t over saturated she let the music speak for itself Also Beyoncé comes across as robotic while Rihanna comes across as more fun and personable.
Seems like Bey has always tried to market perfection so that doesnt leave much room for error, whereas Rihanna hasnt been afraid to show us her ugly/not perfectly pretty package in multiple arenas of her career. Relatability is the new currency and no, i dont think everything has to be relatable but in todays time, if you wanna cash in the big bag, thats the name of the game.
That's cuz as she's done throughout her entire music career, she's lazy & doesn't rehearse or put effort into anything. And y'all disguise it as, "she's raw, she's edgy, she's rebellious." NO she's unprofessional & lazy! Meanwhile Beyonce would literally practice until her feet bleed. Y'all so hypocritical.

I love how “relatable” for y’all means telling all of her business and being active on social media like some tiktok star. The woman is 43 and grew up in a different celebrity era. She’s literally been telling everyone for like 15 years that she cares about her artistry and her craft but because she doesn’t cater to the Shade Room demographic and their antics she’s “un relatable” lol if you actually engage with her ART you’ll find she’s very relatable. At least to those of us who care about good art and composure in public but I guess some would rather have the Sexxy reds and Nicki’s of the world 🤷🏾♀️

Sexxy red and blue faces baby mama are right there. Have fun boo 🫶🏾
Clock it. She's actually the most relatable if we're paying attention. Her artwork is always culturally relevant despite her making her debut in the industry decades ago.. how is she still able to set trends like its nothing if she's not relatable? These people need to get a life. They like Rihanna because they like to be in other people's business
I just don’t think Beyonce hasn’t found a product that was well timed and as successful that people enjoy like fenty beauty. If people like her products more I think they’d be quieter
I mean she had every millennial gen x and boomer woman in a chokehold with that heat perfume she released a long time ago. Maybe she should bring that back lmaoooooooo
Exactly. Just about to say that. she's tried to sell us so many different things, like the jeans, perfume, etc. Like I always thought her wore a blond wig. I never actually seen her natural hair until she launched the brand. Why wait that long to market yourself as a natural hair girlie. I like how Tracy Ellis Ross marketed herself, we always known her as curly girl, thats why her brand is profitable.
@@cmapit3220Rihanna hasn’t always been a billionaire though. Her relatability has been established for almost 2 decades now. Lmao! Facts! I'm not even a huge fan of hers, but ppl are so ridiculous. Why can't Beyonce advocate for Black Americans? Why does she have to advocate for everything and everyone? Meanwhile, Rihanna enjoys the spoils of Black progress, but doesn't have to be an advocate? No.

I clearly remember people criticizing Beyonce when she never used her platform as the top Black Superstar to be political and I’m glad she has used it for the past 8 years or so. 4:09 Love your channel, but I definitely don’t agree with the comment Beyoncé has never worked like this. When Beyoncé dropped albums before Beyoncé, she was the promo queen!!! Anywhere she could perform, she did! She had at least 100 talk show performances for Run The World when 4 dropped. Then that’s not even including her year long tours. The work ethic is there.
Like you said, though, that was before she dropped Beyoncé, so that was more like promotion. She was working on getting her name and image out there as a solo artist. That was years ago. Definitely not the same motive.
@ Besides the visuals I feel like she went pretty hard for Renaissance. A year long & honestly one of the best tours this decade. She’s still working. Cowboy Carter didn’t chart that well for an entire tour.

You have to be fair though Rihanna cannot get as much involved in political stuff in the USA because it's not her country However she is deeply involved in the Politics of her country Barbados. She endorses candidates campaign for her preferred prime minister and she votes. she also helps rally support for them and she helps their government once they are in office . Plus she does a lot of donations to their health care So we have to be fair here .lRihanna may not be so comfortable getting involved in the US politics because if she does people will reminder her that she is a foreigner . Everyone feels more comfortable getting involved in politics if it's their home country.
For all the anti social, private, keep to themselves females out there press this like. I am not like rihanna. I don’t relate to smoking weed, I don’t relate to being in people face when I want to sell a product, i want to be married to a husband with children from that marriage instead of not married, I don’t relate to black social media all the time, I am a hard worker and a perfectionist. I am southern and country I relate to Beyoncé. Just because you are socially awkward doenst mean you are bougie. So I will continue to support Beyoncé brand because she is being herself shy, a little awkward, a hard worker, and she doesn’t gossip about people or talk shit about her fans online like rihanna has.
The black panthers have/had a specific politic and anti capitalism was central. So yes, if you use that imagery, as a billionaire, your feet will be held to the fire. Some critiques do stem from that for sure. But I do think they stem from other places as some other folks in the comments have mentioned
Can we wrap this cultural conversation up by November 1st because I am tired of these same talking points. Beyoncé is a fashion icon as named by the CFDA in 2016 if you don’t want to buy the products she is selling then don’t. And if you feel she is inauthentic and isn’t building a brand that’s nice. Beyoncé personifies the celebrity of the 90s. If you weren't born in the 80s and back, you wouldn't understand. We didn't care about celebrity's every move the way you all do today. Ppl do not like these performers today bc you all know them way too much and for some, their personalities stuck along with a piss poor attitude. RiRi is humble and more relatable. She gives interviews and communication with her fans. Also, her products are great. Bey, be trying to find something that fits.
TBF, most people would stop communicating with "fans" when the public DRAGS her child for being "nappy headed and ugly" We're conveniently forgetting how people treated blue a decade ago. Beyoncé has always been heavily critiqued because she's top tier. She was critiqued in Destiny's Child throughout all it's iterations. She was critiqued because she surpassed all her member's. She was critiqued she surpassed her peers; Mya, Brandy, Monica, Aaliyah, Christiana Milian, and Ashanti. Criticism continued as she surpassed her non-Black peers and opposite gender. Usher, Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Pink, Christina Aguilera, Jessica Simpson. She was praised by the legends and even some felt threatened/insulted when she was mentioned. People then came to celebrate moments when Beyoncé didn't succeed because she usually surpasses expectations. Her acting, fashion brands, perfumes, and now haircare and liquor; were wins to regular people because it made them feel good to see her fail. Beyoncé is the A student, student council member, head cheerleader, school president trope; who other students hated im school, because it made them reflect on why they couldn't be Her. Beyoncé's perfection trope gave way for girls "on the bleachers" and "bad gals" archetypes to thrive. To think you relate to Rihanna more than Beyoncé, just proves the brilliance of marketing teams, branding, and good pr.
They're from different generations almost. Rihanna is the 'influencer' celebrity and Beyoncé is the 'traditional' celebrity The age of social media plays a huge role on their careers. And for Rih, it ties in very well with her brand...whereas Bey has to be niche about how to use social media to keep her 'traditional' celebrity brand
I don’t want someone to engage with me just to sell me products. I’d rather the products speak for themselves. Rihanna put her natural hair away after the launch. Beyonce did the said and the tried to drag her. Both of them have good products, but IMO I like one of their hair lines and perfume better.

Firstly, i hate when people UNNECESSARILY PIT THEM AGAINST EACH OTHER AS IF BEYONCE IS ANTI-RIH OR RIH IS ANTI-BEY. Thats not the case. Rihanna was a hair icon in her day... had a whole generation of girls wearing mushroom bobs and shaved napes with a bang. etc Rihanna doesnt just jump into a lane shes never driven in. The people trust her and her products.
That makes no sense. Beyoncé makes great music. That has nothing to do with the products that she's selling. Clothing, alcohol, clothes etc have nothing to do with Beyoncé true talent, being an artists. Being a genius in one way doesnt mean you can just enter other area's or markets. Rihanna has bad a better eye for products than Beyoncé. Beyoncé is a way better singer and artists. Rihanna has style, I rarely see her miss. Beyoncé misses quite often. See how these women have different areas of strength? Thats why your comment makes no sense

I will say that I’ve tried Beyonce hair line and I love it. I started with the hydrating shampoo to test the waters when it came out. I’ve noticed less shedding, it’s a good quality shampoo, and I still shampoo left, so a little goes a long way. I’ve recently bought the deep conditioner and scalp scrub and those are good. For some reason there’s been a “ Beyonce hate train” lately and it seems to be because she likes to keep her life private. It doesn’t bother me because that’s her life and I’ve was a celebrity I would move the same way.
Also, Rihanna had a blockbuster level of success with Fenty Beauty and Fenty × savage! And now, the public trusts her launches more. On the other hand, people look to Beyoncé for music and music videos, not products.
The biggest difference is Beyoncé is more private than Rihanna, so it’s come off like she’s only doing it for a bag. Rihanna will make videos explaining her products by herself. She doesn’t have a makeup artist doing her makeup or an esthetician doing her skin care to demonstrate the products etc . I think Beyoncé needs to be more relatable by simply showing a little more of her life. I know Bey does her own hair sometimes, so she should show that. Overall if you’re going to release products, you have to put effort in it. Being well-known /attaching your name isn’t enough.

Rihanna’s brand makes sense! It’s all beauty related and she’s been doing it for years. Explain how does a hair line, jeans and a whiskey correlate together? Beyoncé is just throwing stuff out. Rihanna takes the time and markets to her public and actually talks to her consumers in the store and does appearances!
What are you talking about? Beyoncé’s mother was a hairstylist and she worked in their salon from a young age. Levi’s was an endorsement deal not a personal business venture and tequila and whiskey are popular in Texas.
What people don't understand, it's that she doesn't want to build a brand that is attached to her. That's why you think she doesn't develop Cecred, as she should. She wants the brand to live without her image constantly attached to the brand.
Honestly as much crap y’all have talked about Beyoncé her family her children even before they were born id definitly be about the coins and for myself not saying that’s what she’s doin cus Beyoncé releases quality regardless just some people have in issue cus they want to know her business. Also Beyonce owns everything not selling her stuff out to white people which is another reason they mad. We live in a capitalist society y’all but Rihanna stuff so if you don’t like Beyoncé don’t buy it simple don’t get mad cus she doin the samething rihanna is period. I like Rihanna but she still not relatable to me but y’all have had more access to her cus Rihanna is always out in the public and someone who is very private like myself I relate more with Beyoncé on that cus people are evil and can’t be trusted.
Kim Kardashian products do so well because she markets them so hard and is everywhere all the time. Also she constantly shows off her lifestyle when so people buy her products they feel like they're buying a piece of her life.
I agree. With Kim, it doesn’t even matter what she is selling. Other people will even look to her almost like a case study or blueprint for marketing, because she’s built such a strong brand. The lifestyle is above the actual product
The Kardashians are evil marketing genuies, lol Beyonce doesn't promote her products that hard. She puts her energy into her music, and I'm fine with that because that's what i care about. She knows how to do music well. Rihanna is better at marketing and promoting her products, and her makeup products address a gap in the market. No amount of liking Rihanna could make me buy her wares. Her makeup was good but her hair products, no one cared for it and I doubt it will have the impact fenty foundations did
I think it’s because Beyonce is more high profile than Rihanna. The more exposed you are, the more attention & critiques you get. Riri is quiet these days.
For me, the consumer. Rihanna has made things that the market needed. Like deeper shade ranges and more lingerie options for plus size women. Beyoncés products are really not that groundbreaking. Her super fans will run out and buy but that’s not enough. In a perfect world I don’t believe Beyoncé really wants to tour. That’s why I think she keeps pushing these products, to see what sticks. More artists wish to be in a position like riri
Also celebrity brands have always been a thing, but after Rihanna success, there was a big market boom for celebrity brands. it was as if Rihanna was the poster child. She won. I don’t think there will be anything like her success. The public is over saturated
People who are against her business ventures can be separated in two camps. 1. Branding & imagery → practically everything you’ve mentioned in your video (very valid btw). 2. Relatability → every comment is proving that they don’t care as much about the capitalist aspect, they just want to feel like they can be the person that’s selling the product. Rihanna is relatable & is in proximity. Beyoncé is aspirational & hard to reach.
Beyoncé is criticized for everything & as much as we love her for it, we also envy how extremely talented and beautiful she is, and she always tries to remain classy whereas Rihanna doesn’t hold back all parts of her personality. The amount of Love/Hate she gets is like no other artist. It’s also because she’s a woman in my opinion, we hate to see women thrive in an independent way and she’s not shy to say that she is.
Even Fenty Hair is doing better than Cecred. It's also more affordable. I haven't tried anything from it yet because I have locs but I'm sure it's a matter of time before she starts loc hair prodcuts. I'm a Fenty girl. All of her brands are high quality and affordable.
@ idgaf about her being my friend. That has nothing to do with the fact that the general public doesn’t find her interesting. The beyhive seems to be insecure about that and is now repeating the same bs over and over again about how she’s not our bestie. But best believe if she was charming, interesting, and charismatic as other celebs yall would be talking about it and using it in your little stan rebuttals

We know Beyoncé as a performer and singer. We don’t relate to her as oppose to Rihanna who we can relate too and have related too for years. Rihanna is very open and we can almost see ourselves in her. Like just recently, Rihanna said she watches the Real Housewives. Half of her fanbase almost watches those shows too so it’s the little things and Rihanna and her products came out in a time where everyone was financially stable and she gave us a chance to look into her world. Beyoncé is private which is nothing wrong with that but her fans feel that they can relate to her via buying her products. Beyoncé comes off as a perfectionist and we were only able to see her goofy side during the Renaissance era which she allowed us to see. In some instances, people buys Beyoncé products because it’s attached to her name. Aside from Sir Davis and her hair line, her products are not really marketable. Ivy Park came and went and nobody even wears that stuff anymore. It’s all about relatability.
If celebs gain fame due to support from the public(fans),why can’t the very public speak on their ventures and how they market to us esp in dire economic times? Also, Beyoncè, Rihanna, no one wants to hear anything that isn’t singing their praises regardless of validity or how sincere the critiques are. Another reason I loathe stans.
A disagree Beyonce has millions of fans who love both Riri and Beyonce. Yall don’t have to buy everything she sales, but I bet yall be over there on Amazon everyday
Beyoncé has positioned herself as unapproachable, flies above the fray and mysterious. Her boundaries have low key bit her in the butt when trying to move beyond music. RiRi ppl can see as their sassy home girl… she’s got her boundaries too but went about things differently.
I’m a fan of Beyonce but I agree with these points. I also think she’s afraid to talk to us sometimes. She’s called dumb when she speaks and I think she’s still mad at folks for going in on her child’s hair!
Other reasons: Because Beyonce is a black American woman. We will always be more critiqued. Also people feel more comfortable with Rihanna due to her having average talent. This is how many people choose friends as well. They choose people who don’t outshine them. Some of this comes down to low self esteem.
I agree. I said this somewhere on here in not so many words people who give thier all always get overlooked whereas people who do the least are always prefered cause they arent a threat
That’s funny because I don’t think Beyonce outshines Rihanna the least bit. Like we all know Beyonce is an excellent performer and can put on a show. But, that still doesn’t outshine Rih IMO. Beyonce is even a better singer than Rihanna but that still hasn’t stopped Rihanna from outselling Beyonce in record sales at every turn. It’s not even close. So…
I don't think that's it. All Black Women don't struggle and we relate to all types of backstories. Rihanna did fill a real void in the makeup market and her products are good. She's relatable like the girl next door, that's part of her charm. Beyonce' is mysterious like old Hollywood stars which is a good thing too. That works for her music projects greatly. Neither approach is bad, but being relatable is great marketing for products.
That's part of it. There is always a disconnect when a black woman comes from privilege. From Bey to Lori Harvey to Kerry Washington. We associate blackness with struggle.
@NalaAmari right. Fenty foundation solved a real gap in the beauty market where Beyonce hair products don't. Plus, she releases it when everyone was really broke, which didn't help. I don't think her not having a struggle story has much to do with it plus she's a bigger star than Rihanna and has been very famous for a long time
@@drnstjhn you think I don't know that??? Even the ones in real life are deemed unrelatable by most black folk. They're called bougie and out of touch. Let's not be deliberately obtuse. She is not relatable to a lot of black people which is why her brands don't cater to the average every day working individual. She has never had to sacrifice and be a strong black woman. She BEEN had it
I’ve been wondering this myself and I think the difference is that Rihanna’s media personality and brand is more relatable because she is more transparent and people more easily identify with her because she shares more about her life and personality. Beyoncé has perfected her brand so much that she has become un-relatable and perceived as less personable.
Lmao talks about the ppl. She was sooo messy online & to legends who came B4 her. Hell she has multiple paparazzi & concert videos of her beating her own fans😅😅 TF can yall possibly like about her?😅😅

@Cheetah69 how to be a celebrity in a social media era nobody is taking anything from Beyoncé so relax lol. I literally said “for me” for a reason this is just my opinion.
Thank you. People forget that when Rihanna entered the game she was the underdog…literally! No one saw Rih coming and she took the world by storm by being herself period! ❤
Beyoncé lacks a strong personal brand. Beyoncé is the consummate entertainer and that’s why people pay exorbitant prices to see her perform. When she’s performing, she’s the star and you’re not-that’s what you’re paying for. But when you buy personal care products, you want them to feel PERSONAL. Based on her less than successful launches, it’s evident that Beyoncé lacks a personal connection to her audience. Beyoncé’s brand is perfected and manufactured which is great on the stage, but not in the stores.
These fake fans who love Rihanna are the same folks who turned against her when Chris Brown beat her up. They accused her of being at fault for getting beat up. Folks are just full of shizz and need to get a life. Just give it a minute - they will turn on her again.
Rihanna is just more relatable. She has so much more personality. Rih aint a robot. Also Rihanna is constantly trying her products online. Showing us how she uses Fenty. I use the Fat Water and baby after I used that one bottle for a few months (it lasts so long). I was hooked. I love a good product that actually works and I dont have to replace after 2 damn weeks. Rihanna got Fenty and built upon it. She isnt doing too much. I could even see a Fenty Furniture. A lil home decor. Rih def can do it. ❤
I use the entire facial routine, cleanser, fat water, moisturizer, and sometimes the nighttime moisturizer. All products that are affordably priced especially for the amount of time that it lasts, and they work great for my face. I can almost guarantee that Rih actually uses all of her products fr, b/c if I had more funds i’d purchase way more things b/c her products are of a certain quality and a comfortable price point. I have locs so I have no need for Fenty hair, but if ima buy a product from rih or bey I’m choosing the one whose products have longevity and consumer trust.
@runwaygina I will always buy her products before Bey. I just trust her integrity more. She interacts with her consumers and I feel like she puts more thought into it. Have you tried the Fat Water in a bubble bath??? 😍😍😍
I don't think Beyonce private persona doesn’t mesh well with her pushing these products. I get she's private because it helps her sanity. But when it comes to lifestyle brands people need something to cling onto.
Rhianna isn’t American, why would she get involved in our politics? Heavy is the head that wears the crown. If she doesn’t want to be judged more she needs to pass the crown to RiRi

Not only that but pushing expensive products
Did we forget House of Dereon? This was at the beginning of Rih’s career or probably even before and it didn’t sell. This was way before Beyonce started cosplaying as a revolutionary, pro black figure.

@ maybe, but have you considered that three most likely are misogynoir? And even if they weren’t and the hive is overreacting comparing them to the barbs who literally send death threats and doxx people is certainly…a choice

Make up and lingerie as products made sense for her , we can easily connect it to her.
She made her products affordable , extremely inclusive, the products were great especially the make-up, the marketing was top tier, you could see the time and effort put into it.
People buy the products because they are good and met a need not because it was Rihanna.
Yet Beyonce drops yet another unaffordable haircare line with nothing to set it apart expect its from her.
Then she drops a whiskey but since when did Beyonce drink whiskey??? How does whiskey connect to her customers base??? A vodka or prosecco or moscato would of made alot more sense.
The Ivy Park line looked absolutely amazing BUT only on social media. Most people will and could not pull off that clothing in every day life.

The Kardashians are evil marketing genuies, lol
Beyonce doesn't promote her products that hard. She puts her energy into her music, and I'm fine with that because that's what i care about. She knows how to do music well. Rihanna is better at marketing and promoting her products, and her makeup products address a gap in the market. No amount of liking Rihanna could make me buy her wares. Her makeup was good but her hair products, no one cared for it and I doubt it will have the impact fenty foundations did
Great example, being in people’s faces can keep a brand alive.
I agree with you on the differences 💯

I don't want to know about Beyonce nor Rihanna personal life. Don't care.
Let’s be real, we don’t fool with Beyonce unless she’s performing. Nothing else about her is interesting if we’re being honest
And is that a bad thing? She’s a performer…not your best friend
@@yabba35557 I mean she’s pretty charismatic and charming…y’all are just dedicated to hating. But werk I guess
Or is she trying to get her own bag away from her husband because he’s gonna get popped in this Diddy situation?
😮😮😮😮
Now we're asking the REAL questions!

Mind you ivy park was 10 years ago
Y’all don’t really care about victims y’all just want a gotcha moment and it’s really sad

It kinda goes both ways Rihanna have some questionable looks too
We know Beyoncé as a performer and singer.
Rihanna is relatable and humble and herself .
Nope she don’t even talk to yall 😂 she don’t relate to yall 😂. And yall can NOT RELATE to her.
Relatable how?
Was she being relatable and humble when she and her fans cyber bullied a teen girl for recreating her red carpet look for prom?
She’s not but she’s definitely more likable
Y’all are delusional
People love to hate people that people love. People are jealous miserable and confused.
Beyoncé has positioned herself as unapproachable, flies above the fray and mysterious. Her boundaries have low key bit her in the butt when trying to move beyond music. RiRi ppl can see as their sassy home girl… she’s got her boundaries too but went about things differently.
Rihanna is more "relatable " how people believe that they can relate to a billionaire??😂
Beyoncé is not a business women. She loves music so much. Ri likes music but she’s a business women
👏🏾That is it and that is all!
Great point!
😂😂😂😂😂😂
I’m a fan of Beyonce but I agree with these points. I also think she’s afraid to talk to us sometimes. She’s called dumb when she speaks and I think she’s still mad at folks for going in on her child’s hair!
Other reasons: Because Beyonce is a black American woman. We will always be more critiqued. Also people feel more comfortable with Rihanna due to her having average talent. This is how many people choose friends as well. They choose people who don’t outshine them. Some of this comes down to low self esteem.
Nonsense
@@PureNaptureyou know its true. Don't lie.
I agree. I said this somewhere on here in not so many words people who give thier all always get overlooked whereas people who do the least are always prefered cause they arent a threat
There are black people outside America. Rihanna is a Caribbean black woman, there is also west, east and south Africa. Shut up.
So…
It's because she doesn't have a struggle story.
That's unheard of for black women
I don't think that's it. All Black Women don't struggle and we relate to all types of backstories. Rihanna did fill a real void in the makeup market and her products are good. She's relatable like the girl next door, that's part of her charm. Beyonce' is mysterious like old Hollywood stars which is a good thing too. That works for her music projects greatly. Neither approach is bad, but being relatable is great marketing for products.
damn. do a lot of black people rly feel like this about our own? all of us are not from the hood and have struggle stories
Rihanna talks to the people
Beyoncé used to talk to more people. Do lots of interviews. But everyone picked on her, how she talked etc.
Lmao talks about the ppl. She was sooo messy online & to legends who came B4 her. Hell she has multiple paparazzi & concert videos of her beating her own fans😅😅 TF can yall possibly like about her?😅😅
@@Rucci55Huh? People are allowed to like Rihanna. Wtf is wrong with y’all?😂😂😂
@@fixthatface483they want us to hate her so bad. I like Rihanna. She’s really grown in front of our eyes. Yes she has had messy moments but that was almost a decade ago. She’s not perfect but we love that about her

Yall just can't get enough of her huh?😌
@@niaa25986 I literally just asked you a question. No need to relax.
I love Beyonce and I once loved Rihanna, and I don't buy any of their products honestly
@@Teenytinymia celebrities aren’t relatable period
@Teenytinymia in a bubble bath!? I have not 🤔 I bet it makes your skin smooth!
@@runwaygina you know Rihanna doesn’t use the products she sell on her skin 😂
I don't think Beyonce private persona doesn’t mesh well with her pushing these products. I get she's private because it helps her sanity. But when it comes to lifestyle brands people need something to cling onto.
Rhianna isn’t American, why would she get involved in our politics?
Heavy is the head that wears the crown. If she doesn’t want to be judged more she needs to pass the crown to RiRi

Beyonce is the bougie cousin. Rihanna is the cousin you love like a sister. She'll make inappropriate jokes at a funeral, & she'll sneak off to smoke a J w/ you after Thanksgiving dinner. That's the difference!
Ouuu you just described me 😂😂😂
And this is how u buy a product or support a company? 🤡

@@Rucci55 Relating to a personality isn’t the only way consumers relate. So no, we don’t need to know the CEO of every company, but some CEOs have become the face of their brand and their personality can positively or negatively impact the brand’s success.
It’s bc The general public doesn’t care about talent anymore 💀
Her products has nothing to do with talent it’s her in general been a talk for years let’s start there her talents are out of this world on that stage and in the studio
Rihanna actually gets on the ground and touch people beyonce doesn't simple and also it seems like Rihanna knows what the public would like to see from her Beyonce doesn't
Because ppl cares about image more than résultats .
Beyonce's products are more acclaimed, yet she gets more criticism because ppl see that she accomplished enough but rihanna because she came from a poor house and she acts a certain way she can do whatever she likes
