    Abɔfra bɔ nwa na ɔmmɔ nkyekyede3 means that “A child cracks the shell of a snail but not that of a tortoise.”
    It doesn’t mean “A child coughs but not like a tortoise “ as you translated it.
    The meaning was however right. A child behaves like a child. The Ghanaian society expects age appropriate behavior from all of its members. Behaving or talking in ways that seem “above your age” can be considered disrespectful to adults unless you’re just a mature little one. 😄😄
