    To be honest, solving problems that you know you can also help very much, because most of the times, many people ignore or don't really think about some edge testcases that pop up after you click submit.

      @@nakulkharkwal3730 hello nakul, for leetcode you must know the basics of programming in any language (cpp, java ,,recommended) cover all topics like diff operators, data types , array, vector, set and OOP concepts , dsa (mostly not for easy questions but as you try solving medium or hard questions you will need knowledge of dsa)
      The main thing is to build logic on how you can tackle a problem and how well you can optimise your code.
      All the very best✨

    Ego satisfaction is also needed. Yes it shouldn't blind us. We should definitely solve more new problems on our own, giving time. But we can't totally avoid questions for which we know the solution.

      For the questions you know, if you wanna solve it very hard. Then you can do 2 things, do it under a time limit 15-20min and also in 1st Try

    • @bishalkundu7592
      @bishalkundu7592 Год назад +6

      @@loudcapricorn5513yeahhh I also do the same thing. If I see that I can relate a problem to one of the problem that I solved earlier I try to code that up as quickly as possible then move forward. Revision bhi ho jata hai isse.

      don't totally avoid them, but don't spend time on them too, if can be done in 10-15, do them and move on. I never do something that I know, because it does not teach me anything, initially its important, not after a point in time. Like after 1 year of practice, you tend to write error-free code, so the intention was to pass the message that prioritise unknown problems at first

      it is not about the people who has solved 1000Q , but the mentality of the people who solved 0Q and want to solve 500 or 1000 Q he is trying to change . some delusional minds will think they will solve 500 Q on day 1 and only solved 5 Q by day 30 and they see that they are no way near 500Q and give up . he is giving advise to people who are new to DSA , the person who solved 1000Q wont feel like he has done a mistake because he knows it helps him in future not forgetting the patterns in case he want to switch again .

      I don't think it will be a good idea to go for numbers. Think about it: to play soccer/football you need speed so you are just running and running to keep up the speed, but if you don't have the quality like passing the ball, defending the goal post etc. you can't be a good soccer player; the soccer team have to disqualify you. Similar like here, you need to learn the art of problem solving by solving problems by yourself.

      I think the best idea is to first go for quantity of questions. then later on you can go for the quality of questions.

    Hello @Striver bhaiya, i see you talked about patterns in 4:00 and said binary search has 10-12 patterns similarly graph has 8 patterns.
    My request can you make a sheet where each topic's patterns are listed with questions and solution? If it already exists then I might be unaware of it, so please guide me.
