And THIS is why I enjoy your channel! (& btw, I had no idea about the monolith in Turkey). I cant tell if your degree(s) is history, anthropology, psychology, sociology, biology, philosophy, geography, physics, world religions, meteorology, geology, but i love that you usually combine it all, even if only a little bit of each, in each vid. 👍
Now THIS is real ASMR content. Too bad that I always fall sleep, its so interesting what you say but its so hard not to relax and fall asleep. Keep it up man as always!
Helping me work, get to sleep and learn. Also actively encouraging me to continue reading around all of the subjects your videos cover. Keep up the good work.
Thank you for putting in so much time in doing your videos! They are great! A minor request/suggestion from me is to apply some elements from "The French Whisperer": Esp to have static/scrolling pictures from what you are talking about.
Still enjoying your videos! I almost always fall asleep at some point during so I love to rewatch ones I’ve viewed too. Your enthusiasm for history and pursuit of knowledge is so refreshing. I have pretty bad ADHD and regular asmr can’t always turn my brain to relax mode. But subjects like this just really help me relax! Thank you! Also love the Jordon Peterson reference!!
Do you think you would like to do a video on your thoughts and knowledge surrounding the Younger Dryas Civilization theory? That would be amazing! You seem to like that subject and its really interesting to think about.
my brother I recommended this topic a long while back just wanted to say thank you I appreciate you and its nice to be on same page .Oh and you should talk about The Richest Man in Babylon!! its a great book short read. every man should read it the young the better.
Hey just found your channel and I’m a massive history nerd! I’m only 15 but I’ve been asked to come study US history in Washington DC over the summer and I can’t wait! Until then I’ll be falling asleep or playing city skylines listening to you speak about history
Or talk about the prosperity of Babylon and Arkad and how they perfected the laws of gold near its infancy that are still practiced today. And I really liked the video.
Assyriologist Samuel Noah Kramer's works on ancient Sumer are very interesting. The religion, myths of the period are fascinating as they are incorporated into later cultures. The early writing which seemed mostly to keep records of goods, government but also some stories that give more insight into everyday life. How about some ancient authors like Tacitus, Herodotus, Seutonius, etc., oooh or ancient plays like Sophocles, Euripides, Aristophanes' The Clouds, Lysistrata...Love ancient history.
Incredibly based reading list my man, I've only heard of a couple of those and I'll make sure to check the rest out. If you haven't read it yet, I highly recommend Walden by Thoreau. Great book.
Love these vids. You should do one on hemp and the hemp tax in the USA years ago that involved the war with the timber industry and US government. Even better one is how moonshiners started the modification car scene and without realizing it just to evade law enforcement and the collusion of the car industry's on both sides, that later led to the creation of NASCAR.
Great vid but definitely surprised by Peterson shoutout, he's become controversial for good reason (bad economics and odd conspiracy theories, in part). For anyone interested in these topics there's so much better out there IMO.
As we are in this universe, we cannot have more neural connections than there are atoms in the universe, as they're made of neurons which on average contain 3* 10^14 atoms per neuron.
Pre history is before written language, ancient history is from beginning of written language to the medieval era (1200?) modern history is anything after the industrial era which started at the end of the renaissance
Oh my goodness, doggo is adorable and so sweet. ❤🐾 I love your knowledgeable videos. We can learn before falling asleep. Are you a teacher? Either way your passion for learning reflects and thank you for sharing your videos. P. S. Who the heck put a thumbs down? Someone made a mistake.
I get why some people would find Sargon of Akkad offensive, even though I don't, but it baffles me when people claim Peterson is also in this category of highly controversial people. From what I've seen, he just explains what we intuitively know as common sense through the lens of a psychologist. I don't understand how anyone can truly listen to a lecture of the man and be offended rather than intrigued.
So glad you are willing to share your honest thoughts and ideas and opinions with your viewers. It introduced me to jordan Peterson(aka: my Canadian Dad #adoptamillenialJP #pickmeJP) As well as gave me some intelligent things to share in social situations ;) #himom. So thanks ..and thanks and thanks and thanks again ♡
Wow 😳 you’re really handsome. I’ve only watched videos when you don’t show your face. Beauty and brains I see lol (idk if that works for men but I don’t see why not)
Management arrives at 4:12 😂

The legend speaks.

Hahaha I'm literally just a doggo..love it
Great vid but definitely surprised by Peterson shoutout, he's become controversial for good reason (bad economics and odd conspiracy theories, in part). For anyone interested in these topics there's so much better out there IMO.

Tonight’s history less.....zzzzzz
As we are in this universe, we cannot have more neural connections than there are atoms in the universe, as they're made of neurons which on average contain 3* 10^14 atoms per neuron.
Well its exponential. Each neuron connects to thousands of others, so connections escalate rapidly
PENNY MY LOVE
Fewd for the management!
When does Pre-Historic, Ancient History, Medieval History and Modern Gistory begin amd am I leaving anything out?
