  • This Tiny Tunes is all about how to tell the difference between odd and even numbers. The song looks at two ways we can tell them apart. If a number ends in 0, 2, 4, 6 or 8 then it is even. If it ends in 1, 3, 5, 7 or 9 then it's odd. We also then look at how if a number can be divided exactly in half then it is even, but if it can't it's odd. The video then also gives several examples where kids can try and workout whether a number is odd or even using the methods they've learned.

    Song Lyrics
    Am I odd or even?
    How can you tell?
If I end a zero, two , four, six or eight
    then I'm even.
But if I end in a one or a three or a five,
a seven or nine then I'm odd.
    Am I odd or even?
    Well you tell me?
    If I'm five
    I'm odd
    If I'm eight
    I'm even
    If I'm thirteen
    I'm odd
    If I'm twelve
    I'm even
    Am I odd or even?
    How can you tell?
If you can split me in half into two equal parts,
    then I'm even.
But if I can't be divided exactly by two
and there's something left over I'm odd.
    Am I odd or even?
    Well you tell me?
    If I'm three,
    I'm odd.
    If I'm six,
    I'm even.
    If I'm twenty-one,
    I'm odd.
    If I'm ten,
    I'm even.
    If I'm seven,
    I'm odd.
    If I'm twenty-four,
    I'm even.
    If I'm thirty-nine,
    I'm odd.
    If I'm fifty,
    I'm even.
