A fantastic video series that will help thousands of new reloaders understand their new lee six pack pro. Your teaching is priceless to the reloading community. Bravo Highboy 😉👊🇺🇸
Thanks JerrBear, I always appreciate you, my friend. Highboy

Thanks for the tutorial and your opinions after going through the setup and adjustment process! 👍
excellent video series thanks for posting this !!!
Always enjoy your content. It's helped my knowledge of reloading very much ...
Looking into this set up. I like the videos.👍
Parabéns pelo vídeo.
Ive got electronic powder check and bullet feeder on my six pack. Great machine after slight learning curve.
That's great yo hear and it is nice to meet you. Highboy
@@76Highboy nice to meet you too.
Two Points to address for you:
1) I was told, by Lee, that using one case to get the powder correct will re-flair the case too much. Don't use one case.
2) Those reloading 'Gauges' are completely and totally useless. Use your gun barrel's own chamber instead. Remove barrel from gun; put the bullet in there, press it in with your thumb, tip the barrel upside down -- your completed round should easily fall out. I learned this the hard way!
As far as using one case to dial the powder charge is correct. As far as gauges being totally useless, you are incorrect. The gauge is set to a SAAMI min. Your chamber is a SAAMI min + 0.001. This means that if your ammo will chamber in the gauge, it will chamber in any pistol. But, if it chambers in your pistol, it might not chamber in mine. I can run my 9mm ammo through my case gauge and all of my ammo will function just like factory. Same with my 45 acp. Sometimes I get rejects that won't fit my gauge and I run those through particular pistols. But, overall, all my ammo functions through all of my pistols because it all passes the case gauge. If your ammo will not pass the case gauge check, and it wont cycle through other pistols except the one that you tested it on, then you are pretty much making subpar ammo. At least that's my opinion. So, the gauge helps the reloader produce ammo that is set closer to SAAMI min... just like you buy from the factory. Highboy
@@76HighboyI have lots of reloads that fit easily in my 'gauge' but FTF and/or FTE in my gun. My biggest problem was not getting the OAL low enough to not get caught in the riflings. I have more than one gun; so I rounded them all up and (finally!) set the OAL low enough so all the guns could pass the Test I mentioned. I've never had a FTF, or FTE since. In the course of this 'process', (which I putzed around with for about a year) I 'discovered' this fact == The Test I mentioned. I spoke to more than one individual who, were far more expert than I was at the time, and they all thoroughly trounced my retort when I said: "But my rounds all pass through the Gauge I bought!" -- whereupon they told me to throw the 'gauge' out and use my barrel! Fitting has to do with OAL and also the Canilure of the bullet.
I'm not sure which flavor of 'gauge' I have; but USE YOUR BARREL!
I hope this helps you as it did me.
Hi boy You should really check out the new Frankford Arsenal X10 I bought one and that is precision all sealed bearings.
No way. They are made in China. Lee is cast, made, and assembled right here in the United States of America. I try my hardest to support the American dollar. Highboy
@@76HighboyI feel the same way buy and support American made. Love my six pack pro
Is the priming system on this new press better than the one on the LEE Loadmaster? I bought a Loadmaster years ago and did about 200 rounds on it and haven't touched it since because I hate hate hate that crappy priming system that forgets to load a primer or prims cases upside down. I just went back to my LEE 4 hole turret press.
Highboy, did you pop the live primers out of the recovered ammo you showed at the start of the video. If so with what De-Capper? Also did the primers seat well with the anvils already being compressed? Would love to know your method.
The primers seated pretty good. I think that I need to just get a feel where I'm not pushing so hard on the priming stroke. As far as decappers, I us FW Arms. Tell them that I sent you. I do deprime live cases. Just wear safety glasses and do it away from anything flammable or explosive. If one pops, which I doubt they will, they will just go BANG!!! No problem. It's good to hear from you 953. Highboy
Do you have to resise projectiles before hand or does the reloader do it for you
Do u thing it would be a advantage to use this lee powder charge on say the T7 press if it’s possible instead of hand charging cases on t7
It's possible. Just make sure you don't skip a case. Squib.... yikes. Highboy
