As a very frequent RUclips consumer I can say that people look for more dynamism and it is based a lot on how you start the videos and things like that, that is the big reason why not so many people watch streams, don't get frustrated believing that it is something of the heartstone content, most content suffers from that to a greater or lesser extent

About question from the beginning from the video. I would like to see list of the deck, with very short explanation and time stamps of each game also helps for me (funny title for time stamps are also good addition, but not sure if it is worth the time).

Maybe dont just show live gameplay from the beginning. Present the deck, present the win condition and possible best mulligan ect. Set up timelines so people can skip that if they want. Presentation -> Wincondition -> Mulligan -> Game 1 -> Game 2 -> Game 3 ect.
Uploading pure gameplay from twitch can a turn off for alot of people, I think.

Maybe they watch a little to see how is piloted but after that they move on
I watch 50% of the videos to the end and the rest are usually deck ideas or suggestions for builds
Im the guy that watches only the firat match. What makes me stay is the commentary, if it is insightfull on the game i tend to stay, good intros do help
i wonder if the watch statistic also accounts for people like me. i frequqntly start a video, have to do something and just finish it like the next day or so after putting it in a playlist. or now that the playlists always start the first video when you try to open them i technicaly start watching a video that i might not want to watch right now and skip to a different one.
The initial drop off might be people that are queued to your videos and don’t have interest in watching heartstone content like yours
How do you have thge mulligan % and winrate %? I have HS REPLAYS as well, have the deck list and stuff, but dont have thne things showing

The problem with me for example is i just want to see gameplay on youtube, i am not here for the talking and i think that is the problem with many people.
And i dont mean it in a bad way but look up for example like kiblers videos ... they are cut much faster so there is no downtime in gameplay... i think that would make a huge difference
I think why it drops off is for me i sometimes watch the video without actually clicking it and i guess it counts as a view sorry about your analytics i also watch it in 2x speed still love you just cant wait through the video normally

My guess is most ppl just start the vid screenshot your deck make it and go play it so no reason to watch rest of video?
I'm not gonna pretend to know to ins and outs of youtube viewer retention but I think showing a big flashy play or the payoff of a deck at the very start of the video would help. Like in this video, Rag is in the thumbnail so it would maybe be cool to see a clip of a game where you summon Rag or another big minion and kill the opponent.

For me I sometimes canot watch whole video because I have other things to do, so more shorter videos might be solution to the problem
But longer videos get more TOTAL watch time overall and it is better. I used to do 1/2 game videos but they did worse :(
It's because a lot of your subscribers are people like me. we come here to see a deck build, see how you play it, then dip when we're satisfied...😅 usually, that ends up being one battle.... it sucks but that's the life of being a content creator playing video games.... It has nothing to do with you personally.. tbh I think you're a cool kid.. 😎
yeah thats fair. The issue is as I look at stats and views or whatever you always think like "what am I DOING" but that is just what its like as a creator when you ARE the content. There are logical reasons and I don't watch every video all the way through when I watch videos from other games (like league of legends) so it makes sense
Early drop-off is a response to click bait titles. Click to get the answer to the click bait and then move on. Not saying you're doing it wrong, just my 2c on the explanation.
I mean its not "click bait" its "click to get the deck code, copy, paste it into Hearthstone" which takes about 20 seconds XD.
I openthe vid, first check the deck list. If i already saw some games withthat list i leave. Dont need to thank you. I guess u should do smth with the deck list. Hide it or make it open a part of it every 2min

Hearthstone is a very chill community where the chatting and "yapping" is generally speaking pretty well received. Also a lot of it is educational so most people like it
