Today my friend @SaraMallia and I are visiting one of the most famous VINTAGE FAIRS in Italy: "VALEGGIO VESTE IL VINTAGE".
It which takes place in Valeggio sul Mincio (province of Verona) only twice a year (in spring and autumn).

Hello Aurora, your love for vintage clothing, always brings back, so many wonderful memories of my Jr. High and High School days, (71 - 77). Yes, I'm old...lol. 🥰🥰
The hours, I would spend combing through the racks of clothing at my local Goodwill stores and flea markets (swap meats in the US), to find that perfect dress or shoes or other wonderful accessories. So many styles from the 50s, 60s and 70s.
I was named "Most Individualistic" my senior year, due in part to my choice of clothing.
I was always breaking the norm!! It's fun to see you doing the same!! 🥰🥰

I am also a senior citizen, over 60 and the prices at your vintage market is really expensive! I shop at different thrift stores in USA, where all have senior discount days and prices are very good - nothing like most of the prices at your market. Even without senior citizen discounts, the prices at our thrift stores are still very good. Yes, many of clothes and purses are very lovely at your market, but I think overpriced for the majority of things.
This is a specialty vintage market that is put on twice a year mainly for specifically curated designer items. Are you saying that the thrift shops in the USA that you shop at sell mostly designer pieces for super low prices and senior discounts? This sounds too good to be true. Most monthly vintage markets in Italy have many different vendors selling products in all price ranges. Specialty vintage markets selling curated designer items and vintage markets in large cities such as Rome, Venice, Milan etc....often have higher prices. Thrift shop chains such as Mercatino and Mercatapoli are more similar to Goodwill in the USA in that the prices are often more reasonable.

WOW, expensive vintage fair!!! I love vintage,good quality. I shopped Goodwill in America Tuesday and because I'm over 50, on that day a discount is offered! A purchased a long colorful silk skirt,2 dresses, embroidery black sundress and long sleeveless viscose Maxie,and 2 tops to match with the skirt,total,$41. And I donated an extra$. Sorry but, I'd only sight seeing in Venice; vintage fair s are taking advantage of the collector!!!👎
It’s curated designer fashion. Vintage clothing fairs and stores in the US have similar prices, if not higher. It’s the difference between going to goodwill vs a curated antique store.

Love the vintage 1970's seaside (beach) coverups; what beautiful prints and colors! That material is called terrycloth!
24:30: I do have a bathrobe like this in a very small size. My grandmother, a seamstress, sewed it for me in the early 70s when I was little child.
The velvet vest looks like a Thanksgiving vest, even the leaves in lower part looks like it’s made for fall time.
