I started using it everywhere and fitting reading throughout my day. Instead of taking out my phone, I take my kindle whenever I have free time and that's just my favorite thing. It makes reading so much more accessible and the difference between reading on my phone and kindle is huge. I completely agree with you on having a separete device for different purposes, kindles are specifically designed to their job and also eliminates distractions. I love mine so much too!
Being able to carry it around is so convenient. Props to the people who can read on their phone, but I definitely feel better about having a lower screen time.
I was one of those people against an e reader for a while but I got one yesterday and I'm obsessed. Will save me space and money

kindle basic squad rise!! 🙌🔥 i've been mostly reading ebooks on my phone the past few years through libby, and i just got a kindle basic this past prime day! it would be nice to have the waterproof feature of the paperwhite, just for peace of mind, but i fell in love with the size of the basic. i absolutely love my little kindle. it's so small, light, and cute - and as much as there's a debate about physical books vs ereaders, i've actually found that having a cute, single function device for just reading has brought back the novelty of physical books for me. being able to decorate the case however i want, and the fact that it has no distractions, makes it more of a special reading experience than reading on my phone was, however convenient it might have been. i just love it. 🥺❤
Hell yeah! Kindle basic is superior (if you are careful around water lol). I totally agree with you about everything and I'm so glad you were able to treat yourself to one
i take my ereader with me everywhere my boyfriend and me go, i even run back into the house to grab it if i've forgotten it and he finds it so cute x) i said "I can't leave without my Kindle!" and he just laughs lol.. It's a great device. I've never regretted the purchase! I haven't the room in my own house for physical books sadly but also, i can't carry a lot so no physical books to carry around is even better for my back!

I love having a Kindle as well. I switch between my Paperwhite and Fire depending on what I'm reading and whether I have borrowed it from Libby or Hoopla. I love being able to get most books at the click of a button. I also have a Nook which I love!
I have a Kobo Clara 2E and it's the best purchase I ever made !
