You crack me up, Mandy! When you said you probably were making us cringe with the flipping of the puzzle, I realized I was holding my breath hoping the sections wouldn’t fall apart.
“I’ll take Potpourri for 200 please, Alex.” You certainly covered a lot of bases! Congratulations on finishing the 3K. I really like the swing ride. You have a lot of patience 😊
Another great video, Mandy. I’m glad to see you kept that beast of a puzzle in tact. You did an amazing job putting it together, and I was worried you might just toss it back in the box, only to regret it like your Haunted Mansion. Whew. 😅Thanks for covering the painters tape approach, too - I think I’ll give that a shot on my next keeper (and it makes my heart sing hearing that “click, click” 😉). I love the 3D mechanical puzzles - just amazing. I had to put that one in my letter to Santa. 😎
I won't lie, I did have moments where I was thinking about crumbling it all up when I got done with it. But learned my lesson with that Haunted Mansion puzzle! Never again! Hope you do get one of the 3D puzzles! They're fantastic!
Good choice on the painters tape Mandy! I had a puzzling friend who passed away. I inherited nearly 100 puzzles taped with this tape. I removed the tape from all the puzzles with only two casualties. They were very cheaply made puzzles. The remaining 98 are a little fuzzy on the back but I am able to reassemble them and they look great.
I'm so sorry about your friend. It's a lovely way to remember them by putting their puzzles back together. I tried removing the tape at one point to line it up better, and it did pull some of the backing off. But I can say it came off a lot easier than pulling up the actual glue sheets. Way less casualties.
Congratulations on finishing the 3000 piece puzzle. The swing ride looked quite complex, so congratulations on getting that done and off your to-do list.
OMG.....BLESS U LADY. Icould not get a working chair ride going. Great job on packing your puzzle too. The painters tape can be permanent or easier on the puzzle to unpeel if you glue the front later. Good choice abd good job. Esp flipping......I was holding my breath. Glad all went well. Loved the video and can't wait for the next one. I skipped my advent puzzles this year.....lol. Still working on my wintry trees in my 2k Romantic walk Anatolian. Ugh!!!!!
It’s always a good feeling when you can finally put away a puzzle like that and know you’ve got it back to it’s box in one piece! It definitely turned out better than I expected, but I know I could've been more careful, but hey it's done right! I honestly thought i messed up the wires for the swing ride. I kept pinching them between pieces 😅
I used the painter's tape method on my St Francis puzzle so I could keep it on display, and it works very well. No messy glue and it's fast and easy. The advent puzzle was lovely but expensive! Aldi recently had advent calendar puzzles for $15.00. Now that's a bargain! Such a cute swing ride puzzle! I had a feeling your daughter would add her own touches again, and she did!
I think I've only ever been to Aldi twice, but now hearing that they carry and advent calendar intrigues me! I need to check out my closest one and see if they have anything. Do they usually carry a selection of puzzles or is it just the calendar they tend to carry?
@@thepuzzledmandy Sadly, Aldi only has puzzles on rare occasions. This may be the first time I have seen advent calendar puzzles, and they appear to be sold out now. Occasionally they have other sorts of puzzles during the year, but unless you shop there regularly, you would probably miss them. They will be on the shelf for a week or two and then are gone. I promise to tell you right away next year if I see more advent calendar puzzle sets! On the upside, the food prices are much better than the supermarket!
17:45 ive done all of their book nooks and a couple of the super creator houses (although those are plastic) and ive also had a couple of casualties but as ive done more and more ive had none in my recent builds. i personally LOVE their stuff and im planning on getting a their new "Puppy's Cozy Villa" which looks so cute
I watched this right after you posted it, but I'd forgotten to comment. 😊 I'm glad you're working on the Disney puzzles. I'm sure you needed a palate cleanser after that cute little swing ride.😂 Speaking of palates, did you like the peanut butter chews? 💖✌
Yea, that swing ride definitely got me urging for more jigsaws 😂 Thank you soo much for the candies and the puzzle! 🤗🤗🤗I absolutely love the puzzle image, as I LOVE road trips!! And my goodness those candies 🤤🤤🤤My daughter and I have been feasting! And thank you so much for your card and your words. I opened everything after a long, difficult day at work, and it really made my day. I so appreciate you 🤗
Congrats Mandy on your 3000 piece puzzle. Must be a Huge load off your shoulders. Did u say snow....run Mandy, run lol. Sydney the last few days had high temps like 36C (whatever that is in F, no idea). Now ive got the heaters on as gone cold-ish. Back to jigsaws, looking fwd to your next project......only 1/2 way thru your video now. So glad u continued with the Rokr wooden puzzle......looks so cute :-) Just an idea and if interests you. I got a 88cm, 777 piece Grandfather clock that is a replica from England in 1770 (a tad before i was born lol). There is one for sale on ebay for $280 which is a major rip-off. Think I paid like $70 for the same thing. The clock works using a 9V battery :-)
I know, that 3K puzzle took a while but the feeling of accomplishment afterwards is such a good feeling! That grandfather clock does sound interesting, but that is super expensive 😱Have you completed it?
@@thepuzzledmandy I totally get that sense of accomplishment. Felt that when i was doing Maths at Uni....sometimes a concept or problem would linger for ages and then snap, inside my head and off we go. It is in boxes with all my other stuff. I did buy the grandfather clock, for sure it was re $40-50US and not the atrocious $280 they are asking for it now.....that is beyond highway robbery. $40 is a good price for a working grandfather clock :-)
You crack me up, Mandy! When you said you probably were making us cringe with the flipping of the puzzle, I realized I was holding my breath hoping the sections wouldn’t fall apart.
😂I could already hear everyone shouting "What are you doing?!?!" while I was flipping them over.
“I’ll take Potpourri for 200 please, Alex.” You certainly covered a lot of bases! Congratulations on finishing the 3K. I really like the swing ride. You have a lot of patience 😊
Thank you! I think I really only have patience for puzzles and other like projects, but with everything else I tend to have a short fuse 🤣

Thank you 😁It was a real challenge! Glad to have it all done now and move on to other fun things!
Congrats on finishing the 3000 piece puzzle! I bet that you are so relieved to be done with it!
Thanks you!
Yes, VERY relieved 😂
That gingerbread house was quick
Super quick and some good fun! They've been great to get done of my busy days.

Congrats on completion of your 3000pc and building your swing ride! Fun video and glad you are back!
Thank you so much! The swing ride was certainly a handful LOL.
I was saying “Mandy, Mandy … number them so you can just take them out and know the order they go in!” 😮
Number the taped puzzle sections? That's a good idea. I'm glad the sections of this image wouldn't be difficult to put together.
I am enjoying this channel! You remind me of.....me at a younger age.😅
😁Happy to hear you're enjoying the channel!

Those book nooks look so amazing and intricate. I really need to get my hands on them.
Love your advent puzzle. I’m working on the Wasgij one - so fun!
Ooo yes, I've heard of the Wasgij calendar. Now you've reminded me that I need to work on the two puzzles that I picked up from England!
Wow - that really is gorgeous! And so fun to watch. I can see how the challenge of putting it together would feel so rewarding!
It's a real beauty, and it's a great reminder that sometimes the most challenging puzzles are the most rewarding.
