It's not drama. He's not being honest about his family. Fact is, they gave him an ultimatum, and he left. But here he doesn't want to expose his family on a public platform, that they don't care, so he's giving unemotional answers.

Being from a middle class family myself i know how hard it is to opt for a business career, aman said aapne duniya nhi dekhe, oo mere bhai usne 3 saal se ghar valon ka mukh nhi dekha, kyuki vo nhi handle kr skta apne ghar valon ko jabtak kuch ban nhi jae, vo har roj dhkke kha kha ke apna pet bharta hai fir pure raat jag ke apne product pe kaam krta hai, no room for sadness, tiredness, loneliness. What matters for him is sole purpose of his life to create something big so that later he can pay back to his parents for all the sufferings he cost.
No problem sharks, you guys have also worked hard but your parents allowed you to be in this field, but there're still farmer or middle class families who will never give permission.
I believe in this guy because i myself have no support of my people in what i do but i never give up, till I'm breathing, I'll keep working for my purpose. I wish best for these entrepreneurs😊

I think a family issue has too much layers of problems. Prolly, he was trying to not to blame them neither to get blame himself. That's why he got confused and started giving contradictory answers.
Reasons why India is an underdeveloped country with such Sharks! Money doesn’t buy everything apparently.
The only issue I have in this pitch is that the guy wasn't completely honest with his answers. If he would have said that I don't want to talk about my family toh shayad Sharks itna persuade nahi karte iss ke baare mein.

That fuel cap what he has come up with has such a small hole, none of the nozzle fits into it. Putting a funnel is not practicle. And none of the sharks pointed it out.

I like how people are empathying them but I think all the sharks specially Peyush, Anupam and Ritesh said genuine reasons as to not entrust them! Personal life definitely becomes important as they invest in the founders and the older one and CEO himself was not that mature and ready to handle himself or his family, let alone the world! It's absolutely correct...if you can't convince your very own family, your parents who are your greatest well-wishers ever in this world who would be ready to support you without any ifs and buts (though exceptions exists), then the world stands no ground! As a good Entrepreneur, You first need to be true to yourself and your family and then only you can become good at convincing people! He should atleast think of his family!

Isn't it possible that his parents are forcing him to quit his dreams and do something like a fixed job ? That's why when he felt unable to make them understand, he left them. And regarding everyone's well wishing parents statement, i hope you know how many forced marriages happen in India due to parents pressure 😅 (Just an example). U mentioned about exceptions. His seems the exception ones 😅.
