Best two teams ever. There's always the excitement when these two fights.Plus there's good sportsmanship to boot, sadly can't say the same about both fanbase.
yoneda123 Exactly what I was thinking. Lol. Great example of the butthurt Na'Vi fanboys. Not sure what's so hard to accept about Na'Vi losing TI3 to rat Dota. Split pushing works wonders on teamfight strats, which is what Na'Vi loves. I wish the Na'Vi fanboys could stop hating on Alliance and just respect both teams. I'm an Alliance fan but I respect Na'Vi and don't bash them and call them bad for using a strategy I'm not the biggest fan of.
Alexandru Crudu I take it you found the TI3 grand final game 5 boring then? I still think it's the best Dota 2 match. I have yet to hear of any match that tops that. You know why it was so good? Partially because the split push made it exciting. Na'Vi is owning the fights and pushing Alliance mid while Alliance is risking their one rax to try to take two. Boring? I think it's quite the opposite. But as he said, thank you for reinforcing exactly what Yoneda was talking about with the fans. Split pushing is a different strategy that works exceptionally well on teamfight strats, AKA Na'Vi strats. Split pushing is plays, too.
Agreed. Probably 2 best teams in the world today. And I like matches between them, regardless of the fact who will win, because one thing is sure, the games will be fun to watch.
nobody but alliance could turn that game 5 around after xboct wins 1v4 lane and dendi Ta is imba fed, only maybe navi could turn that game except alliance, but obv navi was on the other site, so very deserving win for alliance, I am Swedish but I was cheering for navi, and I thought they had it, but alliance fought well and deserved ti3
all the tough crowd stuff aside, what makes this great is how the players can still show they had fun and there's no hard feelings etc like in the end. Both navi and alliance know how to lose and how to win.
It's not about the money, it's the win, the pride, the will to prove "my team" "our dota" is the strongest. In this pro stage there's more important things than just money.
Puppey is such a great strategist. He knew that alliance's last resort was to split push and then he countered it before hand by picking counter-split pushing heroes. Nice, puppey!!
Looking forward to that. If they perform well in that tournament (hopefully both [A] and NaVi will participate), then I'd say they're a legit contender for the TI4 crown. Cheers!
Well the most recent match would be against TongFu in Ti3, i mean picking a pudge in a pretty important elimination game, that takes some guts, and the fountain hooks, they saved the game. Then again is very risky and TongFu had the stronger line up with doom and gyro, had the game almost won, but Na'vi with a bit of luck managed to save that one. You can find that game on JoinDota channel, its game 3 Navi vs TongFu in Ti3 semifinals or something around there
I'm also a fanboy of both teams, Alliance because they're swedish and that's my nationality and Navi for their abillity to make really entertaining games. Couldn't have asked for a better matchup!
Bamboe, previously known for a lengthy time as SexyBamboe, is a Dota 2 player who is known for his particularly numerous attempts to Aegis steal. If he knew there was a Roshan attempt going and he had some manner of diving into the Rosh pit, he would probably try it.
I don't think that Alliance is known for picking unusual heroes now. But they picked Jugg in the final game, which was cool, especially coming from a team that picked just nine heroes in the previously championships, like you said.
because they are very creative and hence very exciting to watch. most teams just play typical strat that will probably give the highest chance of winning (mostly done by chinese teams, no offense). navi pushed it to another level by destroying the typical strats used by other teams. alliance is very creative as well.
That's the number of team pennants worn by people watching the match in their DotA 2 game clients. Pennants are things you buy from Valve for real life money (about 1 euro) to show your support for the team and increase the number below the logo. You can buy multiple pennants and they stack and increase the number further. Wearing a pennant also lets you get cosmetic hats for your heroes if the team you're supporting gets a multi-kill, wins a match, kills their own hero, gets a first blood, etc.
Unforutnately, you're probably right, but by the time TI4 rolls along they will be a force to be reckoned with. I've heard they may be in MLG Columbus with the major western teams, which should be interesting
I like the fact that no Na'Vi fan (at least not thumbed up) is trash talking about Alliance after this game in contrast to "sweet sound of Na'Vi fanboys crying" and such comments on the other side. GG Wp for both teams.
But also remember that going into TI3 (and before G1 League) a lot of people said that Alliance wouldn't stand a chance against the more formidable Chinese teams like IG and LGD, so who knows what could happen.
Navi is in their home-stadion playing in front of their fans; ofc they will cheer for them. However watching a game between Alliance and some other team the crowd will actually cheer for good plays regardless of who makes them. So I think they are much more sportive than usual sports-fans. Btw Imo this series was decided by the mid-lane. Dendi winning his lane meant Navi winning the game; bc the other lanes were pretty even in the early game. ps these are the 2 best teams globally not just EU
I am a Navi Fan. and I have so much respect on Alliance too. Loda changed T-shirt with Xboct!! and Kelly,Akke and loda clapping for the Champion.!! I love both team. GG WP!
yes they do it was the point of the creation of the pendents to help finance these teams you can find them in pro shop section of dota 2 GO BUY ONE NOW
Well played to alliance, slightly out drafted, but they played to the best of the line up. Bravo Na'vi, true champions always reclaim their rightful place
They always play in the most skill required setups, all other team choose secure and probably smarter drafts, but navi, they will play the pudge and heroes like that, thats why they are the crowds favorite
I respect more Alliance after this Championship. They picked unusual heros like riki, zeus and jugg hard carry. They lost the championship, but gained more fans after that, I think.
Whenever these two teams collide, the true winners are the Dota fans around the world who get to see the game constantly pushed to new limits by these amazing players. Fantastic series once again from these juggernauts of the game.
Alliance won in WB finals so they got advatage. As it is best of 5. Alliacne was leading 1-0 without playing in grand finals. Then in finals navi won game 1 so 1-1, then navi won second game so the score was 2-1. Alliance won third game so score 2-2 and in 4th game navi won and hence championship. Final score navi 3-2 alliance
No, he committed suicide as he wanted to heal his teammates around him (read the bloodstone tool tip if you don't understand) Then bought back and TPed back in.
I don't mind watching stomps sometimes as it means they won't be taking too seriously and they'll try new starts which might be really awesome.. although I wouldn't continue watching Alliance like I do if they were also stomping Na'Vi... Just wouldn't be tense like it was in the TI3 Grand Finals
322 comes from the Russian Dota scene as a term for throwing the game. Solo, a Rox.Kis player, bet against his team and threw the game making $322 in the process.
Why all the hate? Im an Alliance fan and sure i was dissapointed here, but this rivalry is awsome, these are the two best teams in Europe and I like that they are very close in skill. Im betting the Finals of RadiCall, WePlay and maybe Dota2leauge (DK may be a condenter there) will be Alliance vs Navi, and that´s awesome. The fact that they do beat each other back and fourth makes it that much better and more fun to watch. Do fanboys really want to se their team stomp every opponent every time?
Na´Vi Fan boys please... You´d better learn some respect. I fucking love Na´Vi playing, its my favourite team, but sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. TI3 was a beatiful final and Na´Vi could have won it. They lost it, they´ve learned from their mistakes and they showed it at this game. Hail to the 2 best teams in the world.
Because Alliance won winners bracket they got 1 game lead from the start. so before it started it was 1-0 alliance. They say this is game 5 but only game 4 they played.
Probably not read them?, if you have high internet speed or just want to not read them completely sure, put it to full screen as soon as it starts maybe? best advice
I understand what you mean, but as any sport, people has favorite teams on esports as well, and cheering for it is normal. [A] were facing Na`Vi at the enemys "home"
And with this game NAVI proved to the scene that not only is Alliance beatable, they aren't the godly team that everyone thought they were. GG Alliance you played well but Puppey outpicked you EVERY game.
Final game: Best of 5. Alliance has one game advantage (upper bracket) -> they auto win game 1 -> 1:0 for Alliance. However, Navi won game 2 and 3 -> 2:1 for Navi. And then, Alliance win game 4 so 2:2 for both team. This game will decide who is the winner. And as the result show, Navi win :X
Bruno is a really awesome caster! He is funny, has a cool voice and doesn't say the kind of stuff that makes you nearly break your nose from excessive face-palming. More bruno casts please
navi and Alliance faced off a couple of games back and A won so when both navi and A met up in the grand final A start when a lead of 1-0 and navi won 3 matches and A won 1 so the end score was 3-2 Navi way so Navi won

As much as I like your comment, it sucks that it's the on the top and that it spoiled the match entirely. Regardless of the content, let's not upvote any comment containing spoilers people! It just isn't worth it. Thanks! (By the way, is there a way to disable the comments in advance?)
While most Navi fanboys and Alliance fanboys are fighting each other based on one game, I'm loving both for giving us the best games we could ever possibly see.. Am a fanboy of both. Never fight each other guys. Even both teams love each other :)
Best two teams ever. There's always the excitement when these two fights.Plus there's good sportsmanship to boot, sadly can't say the same about both fanbase.
It is navi's home turf lol
No more like Na'Vi makes good plays, while Alliance just split push, and are boring.
yoneda123 Exactly what I was thinking. Lol. Great example of the butthurt Na'Vi fanboys. Not sure what's so hard to accept about Na'Vi losing TI3 to rat Dota. Wow, I don't know the purpose of that bloodstone for years! thanks for the enlightenment. :D
8:05, laughing so hard I woke up my roommate at 2AM. One of Tobi's best moment's right there.
I just love Na'Viiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii! awesome!
Agreed. Probably 2 best teams in the world today. And I like matches between them, regardless of the fact who will win, because one thing is sure, the games will be fun to watch.
Respect for Na'Vi
Aaand they didn't. Alliance won
Giangpro95 He said they should've not that they did, you don't have to state the obvious. Thanks.
nobody but alliance could turn that game 5 around after xboct wins 1v4 lane and dendi Ta is imba fed, only maybe navi could turn that game except alliance, but obv navi was on the other site, so very deserving win for alliance, I am Swedish but I was cheering for navi, and I thought they had it, but alliance fought well and deserved ti3
Roman Jozaf I'm saying Navi didn't win, and there's no "should". Not stating the obvious. No thanks
Lukas An Yes, ultimately it is the choices that turn the game, not how well you can play. Alliance made a good choice, Navi did not
good old days of dota 2
the quality of gaming that Na'Vi and Aliance are present is just amazing... they fight on different level
all the tough crowd stuff aside, what makes this great is how the players can still show they had fun and there's no hard feelings etc like in the end. Both navi and alliance know how to lose and how to win.
I missed this navi
Love the commentary!
It's not about the money, it's the win, the pride, the will to prove "my team" "our dota" is the strongest. In this pro stage there's more important things than just money.
That ending speech was very nice, we agree with u yes we made a good choice and we all love you guys!!Keep on Tobi Bruno and others!
God damn amazing dota. I hope Na'vi and Alliance stick around for a while. This rivalry is epic.
Cheers!
Even though I'm a Na'Vi fanboy, [A] and Na'Vi's sportsmanship are the best. Kudos to these men...
Well the most recent match would be against TongFu in Ti3, i mean picking a pudge in a pretty important elimination game, that takes some guts, and the fountain hooks, they saved the game. PREACH!
I'm also a fanboy of both teams, Alliance because they're swedish and that's my nationality and Navi for their abillity to make really entertaining games. Couldn't have asked for a better matchup!
Lovely sportsmanship. That's what I like to see in Dota2 pro games.
Tobi: Look at the damage ! and G.Ggggggggggggg !
Gratz to Tobi for not missing a single first blood in this whole tournament ^^
Bamboe, previously known for a lengthy time as SexyBamboe, is a Dota 2 player who is known for his particularly numerous attempts to Aegis steal. If he knew there was a Roshan attempt going and he had some manner of diving into the Rosh pit, he would probably try it.
GG's everywhere! Alliance & Navi always incredible matches
Give this 2 man's a tone of likes! PLEASE!
34:36 they miss timed the roshan stack XD
I don't think that Alliance is known for picking unusual heroes now. But they picked Jugg in the final game, which was cool, especially coming from a team that picked just nine heroes in the previously championships, like you said.
agreed. it's hurt that they will face each other again, again and again in 1-3 years
This game is really worth seeing! Good final.
because they are very creative and hence very exciting to watch. most teams just play typical strat that will probably give the highest chance of winning (mostly done by chinese teams, no offense). navi pushed it to another level by destroying the typical strats used by other teams. alliance is very creative as well.
actually.. i love the combination with tobi and bruno 3333 pls moorreee

Amazing fights. Now I'm looking forward to see the new DK against these 2 teams.
i have never played any dota but i like to watch it so much
Unforutnately, you're probably right, but by the time TI4 rolls along they will be a force to be reckoned with. I've heard they may be in MLG Columbus with the major western teams, which should be interesting
both teams have so much respect for each other.. gg both teams nice game
they are, if you ever see a dreamhack LAN [A] is the home team usually
i like the ingame sound, really good!
I like the fact that no Na'Vi fan (at least not thumbed up) is trash talking about Alliance after this game in contrast to "sweet sound of Na'Vi fanboys crying" and such comments on the other side. GG Wp for both teams.
It goes like this . The final is bo5 BUT the winner of upper brackets starts with 1-0 at his advantage . Thus the "extra" win on Alliance
But also remember that going into TI3 (and before G1 League) a lot of people said that Alliance wouldn't stand a chance against the more formidable Chinese teams like IG and LGD, so who knows what could happen.
awesome battle right there!!!!!Congrats to NaVi,and tks you both for this awesome game!!

Great sportsmanship all around.
yes they do
it was the point of the creation of the pendents to help finance these teams

Great games, absolute highest level Dota from both teams. Na'vi proving the west has more than one Top Gun.
Did anybody notice right at the end the timbersaw suiciding with bloodstone to deny himself and save batrider? Great play
I was waiting for someone to say this, nice one.
PS: it's back and forth, but never mind :3
Respect from both teams, Xboct and Lod[A] at the end
Well played to alliance, slightly out drafted, but they played to the best of the line up.

No, he committed suicide as he wanted to heal his teammates around him (read the bloodstone tool tip if you don't understand)
Then bought back and TPed back in.
50:38 storm shouldve killed bat but timbersaw used bstone to suicide and healed bat. Those kinds of selfless plays is what makes navi so entertaining
WELCOME BACK PUPPEY'S HAIR. THAT'S WHAT WAS MISSING AT TI3! SMOOTH!!
that's what players do in football to show respect and sportsmanship to the other team after a match
322 comes from the Russian Dota scene as a term for throwing the game. Solo, a Rox.Kis player, bet against his team and threw the game making $322 in the process.
NICE FURION TREES WHERE DID HE GET THAT
In fact, Dendi is not even known for playing Batrider... Before ET and Timbersaw became popular, all Batrider picks went to Funn1k.
It's like any sport the home crowd will always root for the home team no matter what.
Why all the hate? Im an Alliance fan and sure i was dissapointed here, but this rivalry is awsome, these are the two best teams in Europe and I like that they are very close in skill.

No. It was Game 4. Alliance started 1 up due to coming through Winners Bracket.
They're fun guys, you want them to win. They're good and they never play boring.

I understand what you mean, but as any sport, people has favorite teams on esports as well, and cheering for it is normal. [A] were facing Na`Vi at the enemys "home"
Oops, figured it out: technically it's 4th game played, Alliance had 1-0 lead from winner's bracket.
@anyone good with mechanics: does MKB counter ghost scepter? i was wondering if alliance could have countered the ghost scepters with it
And with this game NAVI proved to the scene that not only is Alliance beatable, they aren't the godly team that everyone thought they were. GG Alliance you played well but Puppey outpicked you EVERY game.
Final game: Best of 5. Alliance has one game advantage (upper bracket) -> they auto win game 1 -> 1:0 for Alliance.

This game will decide who is the winner. And as the result show, Navi win :X
At first I wondered why the crowd was so Navi biased... then I realized it was in Kiev. :D
Respect for Navi.
-Alliance fan

This Na'Vi and Alliance rivalry will only make both far ahead of any other DOTA2 teams...
OMFG that funn1k bloodstone suicide at 50:35 !! Denied himself and saved dendi! O.O So good
While most Navi fanboys and Alliance fanboys are fighting each other based on one game, I'm loving both for giving us the best games we could ever possibly see..
Am a fanboy of both.
Never fight each other guys. Even both teams love each other :)
LODA sold the game to NAVI in exchange of the shirt.
what is dendi 'inner bamboe'?
is it like six sense?
Yup the numbering is off. This is Game 5 not 4.
game 1 is upperbracket auto win for alliance ( only game 2 3 4 5 happened)
"He who lives by the trees, dies by the trees." -BRUNO 2013!!!
They had a wisp, so when a tethered Rikki blink strikes it is a free tether stun.
I guess Loda really likes it or something, so they band it.
What the hell happened to Gyrocopter? Seems like he doesn't get picked or even banned nearly as much as he did in TI3
whats the name of the guy who is with tobiman?
I love the Na'vi Alliance rivalry. I am a fan of both teams and it always makes for a good show :) I love it when these teams play each other!
since alliance are from the winners bracket final. they have a one game advantage. thats why its game 4.
amazing game, amazing rivalry
It didn't actually save the batrider, but he did keep himself from being killed by the AOE from storm.
When my computer was broken, I found a net cafe. I was the only one in the whole place playing dota everyone else was playing League.
thx for pointing out that play :)
i like how they cheer when one of their teammate survives even if they loose 3 and kill 0
