Episode 7: Clara's "Multiverse of Creation" is the gentler version of 'Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness'. When Elizabetta said "Good morning" to remove Iruma from Clara's multiverse suit it was clearly the Easter Egg to the 1980 psychological horror film "The Shining" (reference: "HERE'S JOHNNY!")
I think it was hinted from the start that it wasn't Balam. 1. Balam was a student at babylis and we can assume that he started working after he graduated. 2. Balam is trusted by all teachers just like Kalego who's also a student. He might lie if it's an enemy but I don't think he'd lie to his friends and students, unless there's a really good reason like life is at stake. 3. The masked guy (FurFur) mentioned that he wears a mask to cover his expression which is a weakness when it comes to cold reading and stuff. I don't think Balam is the type to lie so instead of lying and saying the truth, he'll be vague with his secret. 4. The masked man mentioned confusion and diversion which is a underhanded thing to do, and fits FurFur's personality. 5. Balam isn't a battle junkie, and he mentioned that he enjoys making books like the one he gave and helped Iruma study about the Netherworld. I think it's pretty obvious in manga
also, as the girl noticed, the timeline didn't add up. "balam" was requested to urgently come in as a tutor, yet the real balam was already working their for months if not years.
