Anyways, Ric was right: Buddy Rogers and Ray Stevens were two of the rare guys in the 70s who did high-spots. Rogers was ahead of its time with the Fargo Strut and the flamboyant promos. He made it quite clear! They were flying to see their wives and something something Ric "flipped" a couple times, slept at the foot of Buddy's bed, and someone went on a boat and it didn't have air conditioning and all of that was hilarious to Ric.
I think the takeaway from this video is that the two Nature Boys probably did care too much for one another, so Ric wasn't going to spend a lot of time talking about Buddy. The older you get, the more likely you are to drift away from a subject instead of saying something unpleasant about another person.
