Raul Malo pays tribute to Willie Nelson with this cover of "Blue Eyes Crying in The Rain", recorded live here on May 13, 2017 at the historic Kessler Theater in X+/North Oak Cliff. The version by Nelson was included on the album "Red Headed Stranger" which was recorded across town in Garland back in 1975.

This was such an incredible performance! It could only have been better if those inconsiderate, immature people that feel compelled to make their unwanted contributions to the sounds do not. So many times compulsive folks yell out during the most inspirational portions of a performance and drown out the sounds of the artist that we all paid to hear. I would if we could have them indicted for stealing, because that is what it feels like. Some immature persons whistles or yells out some senseless dribble and a portion of the artist's expression is lost! Please people, GROW UP! We can express our approval and appreciation when a song is over.
To that individual that kept yell "Yeah-ow", I truly wish I could have placed my hands around your worthless, self-indulgent neck and throttled the flow of air across your vocal cords long enough to hear an uninterrupted performance by a master entertainer!
