I guess they just lost touch with each other.. For example I had very close friends from school and we got along really well, we even met during our free time. But once we finished school we kinda stopped contacting each other bc we didnt see each other all the time at school anymore so we just didnt think of each other that much anymore and we both started working and doing our own things. Jiyong went to US around 2005 or 2006. Only jiyong, jiwon and jeajin knows why they haven't contacted or met. On the other hand, he met jaeduck, sunghoon which is his childhood friend and suwon. I think until today jiyong is closest to suwon since they always contact each other since disbandment.
